00:13And I think that we saw this play out on camera seasons ago.
00:17Portia, you're telling me you're not coming to my wedding.
00:21Yeah, but I'm telling you something about my health.
00:23It's not the flight.
00:24Bottom line is you're not coming.
00:25And while Shamia may pride herself on loyalty, she's still not speaking up and advocating for herself.
00:32And Portia just simply does not look like a great friend on camera.
00:36But if you never choose to address that with her, it does feel a little sideways and disjointed
00:42if someone else is coming to you about your friendship with somebody.
00:45It's still lingering.
00:46And I feel like she may feel that this is kind of like a lopsided friendship.
00:53Wow!
00:53And I said, you need to have this conversation with her.
00:56She said, I'm afraid.
00:58The episode opens with Kelly spending some quality time with her daughters.
01:02But the real kicker at the beginning of the episode is Ralph meeting up with Shamia for
01:07dinner and drinks.
01:08And they're talking about a podcast concept, but it definitely looks crazy.
01:12But of course, Shamia brings Portia along to the dinner because she says she needs a witness.
01:17And I just have to stop and pinpoint the hypocrisy here because as upset as Portia has been this
01:23entire season about Drew and Dennis filming together, you double back and do the same thing
01:28to Drew.
01:29And it just seems kind of like a tit for tat, like backstab thing going on.
01:36Meanwhile, Angela links up with Kelly at one of her investment properties.
01:39Kelly does mention early in the episode that she's trying to move.
01:42Her and her girls are at a townhouse and she simply needs some more space.
01:45Angela gives her a house tour, but I love that she wastes no time cutting to the chase about
01:50the comments that were made at the Bailey Q about her husband and the alleged side baby.
01:58Angela is quick to dispel the rumor about the side baby, but she does admit that there has
02:03been some infidelity in their marriage.
02:05And I can appreciate how open and honest that she's been thus far about her relationship.
02:10And I have to say, Angela's wit is just a great addition to the cast of this show.
02:15Because she makes a point while they're playing tennis because Portia is wearing like a black
02:21and neon, like one piece suit to play tennis.
02:25And she calls her a snuffleupagus, I think.
02:28She didn't know Big Bird could play tennis, but I didn't know a snuffleupagus could play
02:33tennis either.
02:33Portia, Portia kind of, you know, brought her game.
02:36Angela, the queen you are.
02:38She is so funny.
02:39I love her one-liners.
02:40It's great.
02:41After they finish playing tennis, they're sitting down and talking.
02:44You can see that Angela really wants Drew and Portia to really make up because she can still
02:49see that there's some, there was some sort of relationship there.
02:51Angela does carry a bone and she mentions to Portia the conversation that her and Shamia
02:58had at one point earlier in the season.
03:00They went to dinner and Shamia shares her feelings about Portia and how their relationship
03:06seems unbalanced.
03:07She doesn't want to be seen as Portia's lapdog.
03:09I had an exclusive interview with Shamia Morton and here's where she questioned Portia's
03:14loyalty.
03:15You just can't expect people to be the thing that you are to them.
03:20I've always felt like whatever you, you know, you do unto others is you have them do unto
03:25you.
03:25You can't be bad if they don't.
03:27And all of this truly comes to a head at Portia's Pampered by Portia event where she
03:32invites all of the girls to get pampered.
03:34And once they're in a sister circle, this is where things start to go downhill.
03:38Angela, obviously she says what she says to Portia just about them getting on the right
03:44track.
03:45And then we hear Kelly share her feelings about how she feels about Shamia and Portia.
03:51And Shamia is very visibly upset at what has, what has transpired because she was never brought
03:57into the loop.
03:58And Portia never brought it up to Shamia.
04:00I feel like their relationship is a collection of never really speaking up about how they
04:06feel and they end up in these situations.
04:09This friendship is not as solid as we thought or as they thought because I don't think that
04:15we ever thought that their relationship was as strong.
04:18But next week we see Drew get real about her divorce and Portia and Shamia finally have
04:25that sit down that we're waiting for.
