00:32season one um i guess just to start were you guys anticipating that like going in yes yes yes we were
00:39because especially when the trailer dropped um that's when you know the naysayers were really
00:45just like saying stuff that we already knew we were like clutching our pearls for a second and
00:48then once it dropped we're like okay good we were doing what we thought we were doing yes i think
00:54that we uh we knew that it was going to be good because we get all the scripts you guys don't
00:59you see we were shooting it we know what's going on but you guys haven't seen anything
01:03so it was still the same notion of like this is going to be a comedy this is going to be bullshit
01:08this is going to be yaya yaya yada as we're shooting we're like oh they have no idea what's
01:12about to hit them right and that's why when the trailer not even the first episode the trailer came
01:16out i got so many apology texts and you know all types of stuff like man i know it's gonna be like
01:21this dog ain't my fault boy but even though isn't that always the way yeah right yeah but even
01:27though something's good and has substance it means a lot to you doesn't mean it's gonna take
01:30so i did so what was surprising was the like response and then like people stayed in their
01:37seats you know what i mean and i was like okay like and then and then you know people can ingest
01:43you know the the show in in in like 10 hours yeah and so you know our six months of hard work
01:50breaking work they did in 10 hours they're like where's season two and we're like guys yeah i'm
01:55i'm still getting the kinks off my back from swimming guys we've been doing this forever literally and
02:02last year the rollout was three episodes and then the episode four came out on thursday so in one week
02:08four episodes came out so it was like it kind of went by fast like which what is whatever but it
02:13kind of went by fast but all summer we all got it like we will post regular pictures like yo i'm at
02:18the beach whatever and they'll be like where you at why you ain't on set doing season two i'm like yo
02:23chill i know y'all just rushed through it and it was great but we was working on this for six months
02:28like come on so now that you don't have you know that um you've proven yourself i guess what are you
02:35you were able to like just relax some and then go in for season two um what was it like shooting
02:41you know now that you know you guys have a rapport the first season was a hit and you're going back
02:46in now what was that experience like i think that simone says this the best you said it's kind of like
02:52high school i forgot what grade you said we were in but we're now we're juniors right so it's like
02:57you come back in with a little swagger like yeah you know we already know exactly where the
03:01classrooms are and stuff got my friends we already know what's gonna happen but we still don't know the
03:05curriculum you know what i'm saying so the only thing that we didn't you know know was the
03:10scripts but when we walked in it was not like the first time we walked in like we already know each
03:14other we've been being friends the whole summer just like you know high school like you still
03:18friends with your people and so uh that's the that's the best way i can relate i used her thing
03:24though so she might not have nothing to say because i took it from her i'm influential i love it
03:28so now what are you i guess i'll ask each of you individually what are you looking forward to
03:35without giving spoilers to for season two for people to see um from lisa now that you know
03:41everything they've been through in season one her and will and you know her and her father and you
03:45know all these conflicts going on here what are you looking forward to fans seeing from her story
03:50um i'm looking forward to because lisa lisa's world doesn't relax it doesn't relax it gets even
04:00more complicated so i think the people who are seeing themselves in me or in seeing themselves
04:07in lisa in this moment um can watch her carry herself with grace because she really does she really
04:14does and so yeah no no sense of slowing down but how do you how do you maneuver in the race car you
04:23know when everything is going fast around you how do you how do you keep up the pace and still and
04:28still keep your balance that's what i would say yeah i would say i'm looking forward to people seeing
04:32a new side of jazz um you know first season he was you know the voice of reason he was the
04:40calm he was the cool guy who had all the answers and i'm still that guy first of all don't don't
04:47i'm still the coolest i got all that but you can see more layers of me and things that i go through
04:54emotionally even relationship wise even my mental so i'm excited for you know viewers to see me actually
05:01be you know a real human you know that goes through things and even though i'm cool with y'all
05:07i'm not cool with my own stuff you know what i'm saying so and also i will say which i haven't
05:12said before i'm excited people to see lisa be loved like lisa's really sought out and you know really
05:20really like gifts and and attention and it's really nice you know what i'm saying and so to watch somebody
05:27just be just be adored i think and especially it's just you know yes exactly yes she gets love
05:36she gets love this season okay she gets a lot of love i'm not just one person
05:44you know it's funny and actually thinking about um your character jazz uh with his relationship
05:51yeah it's a lot different than how it was with hillary and jazz on the original show it's actually
05:57almost like a completely the polar opposite yeah it's a polar opposite um what has been for you like
06:02the fan response like how hillary responded to jazz versus how she used to respond to jazz in the old show
06:07yeah it's that it's actually been great like fan responses they they love we're shipped as they
06:12said like they ship us for sure um you know i think that on the show too i think it was more
06:20realistic i think that um and and like less sitcomming you know at the end of the day like two
06:26people we start flirting we like each other i'm doing my thing she admires that she's doing her
06:30thing i admire that and so uh it was a great it was great number one seeing the writing that we end up
06:37kind of getting together um and uh like you said like the fan response has been overall great like
