01:25Now that, you know, the audience has grown, everybody loves it, and people have seen what you can do,
01:30and the pressure's off a bit.
01:31How are you able to approach Will differently?
01:34Like, were you more relaxed?
01:35Or, like, what was the feeling like going into filming Season 2 for you?
01:40Oh, no.
01:41Never relax.

01:42You always keep your foot on their throat.

01:47And that was my vibe for Season 2.
01:49Like, being able to dive deeper into this character and peel back the layers in a different way.

01:59That's the biggest thing about Season 2.
02:00When you do anything twice, it's like, okay, is it going to be, like, the first thing?
02:03And so I had to let go of that.

02:05And once I let go of that, I found the freedom to really, you know, create this character and make him mine.

02:11Like, Will Smith made that character his, and we all love that character for that.
02:15And so it's my opportunity, and it's my job now to make this character mine.

02:21And I was allowed to play, and I'm grateful for that.
02:25Without giving any spoilers, of course, how do you feel that your character is different than the Will we do before?
02:30I mean, you know, he's way more vulnerable, I feel.
02:33You know, I feel like a lot of the times in the original, you know, they had material that could have, you know, gone deeper.
02:41But, you know, with what it was, the nature of the show, you know, they didn't take it there.
02:45And so we could take it there on our show, and I feel like through that, we get to see different sides of Will.

03:26What was it like, you know, the feeling that, you know, we have a hit on our hands, and we're tackling it again?
03:30I mean, it felt like no time had passed at all, because we saw each other so much during the hiatus.
03:35Like, we were traveling a lot together, we were doing a lot of press together, we were sleeping, you know what I mean?
03:40Like, in the same rooms, and so, like, you know, we spent a lot of time together, and so it felt like no time had passed.
03:49But, like, you know, when we got back on set, it's like, okay, now the vibes are different season two.
03:53We feel like we know what we're doing, and so, yeah, the vibes were great back on set.
03:58Like, I was like, do I know how to act still?
04:01You know what I mean?
04:02I'm like, and then I got back, and I was like, okay, I'm good.
04:04I'm good, yeah, because the energy was amazing.
04:07And now, being before, you were relatively unknown prior to the show, and now you're a star.
04:14Relatively unknown, relatively unknown.

04:19Floating under the radar now, I was.
04:22What has that transition been like for you, being such a recognizable figure in the public eye now?
04:29It's been fun, it's been fun.
04:31I love all the people who love our show, and, you know, I love the ones who don't, you know what I mean?

04:43I was at dinner with my family, and this kid runs up, and he's like, hey, like, I love your show.

04:58And so, like, just the reach of the show was amazing.

05:09But what are you most excited for the fans to see from you, and I guess from the rest of the cast this season?
05:14Yeah, we're going to go deeper.
