00:00It has become paramount in discussions as of late, particularly with the rollback on Roe v. Wade,
00:05particularly with the rollback in different states on their abortion laws. Here in Georgia,
00:10we did have a federal judge just overturned that six-week ban. They ruled it unconstitutional,
00:15but that is not the end of it. It is a constant fight. So can you talk to us about these restrictive
00:21abortion laws and what we can do to make sense of it all? I mean, and as we're talking about each
00:28issue, I mean, really it's showing that, I mean, whether that be climate change or even with
00:33reproductive rights, there really has been a pushback. I mean, even if we're talking about
00:37affirmative action being overturned by the Supreme Court, but I think, well, there's a big impact.
00:44I mean, all of this has an impact and it really impacts people or young girls and women who are
00:52specifically that, specifically, I guess, the young girls or high school age and young women
00:58and so that really impacts a lot of people and it's a whole thing, I mean, and my mom talks about this
01:03all the time, but I was born in 2008 and with all the recent pushback, with all the laws that have
01:10been passed, I have less rights now than when I was born in 2008. That just shows how, that shows how
01:19far back that we've gone with everything. And so it seems that in a place where we're always trying
01:27to, I mean, think about it like a building and a building that's been around for a long time,
01:31you're always trying to maintain the building, you're always trying to add the renovations to it
01:35and add new things to it and expand the building. But it seems like with all these laws and then even
01:42with the new reproductive rights being more restrictive, it seems like we're restricting the building.
