00:00So, we have three dogs, Miko, Myla, and Millie, and Miko is so loyal.
00:14You can't walk near without him following you.
00:17He's the protector of the house.
00:18Whenever Ronaldo's gone, he is barking at any noise that he hears because he feels that he needs to take care of us.
00:24He knows when I'm away.
00:25He, like, literally steps up his game.
00:27I feel like he's the best with new dogs and change.
00:31When we got Myla, he immediately took her on as his own, and with Millie, he sleeps with her at night.
00:38He cuddles with her.
00:40I feel like he's the one who, like, welcomed her into the house.
00:43So, this is Myla.
00:44Myla, she is very introvert, very to herself.
00:49She is very dominant.
00:51Like, she runs Miko, but she's also scared of everybody and everything.
00:55So, like, anytime she feels intimidated, she'll just, like, dart to her cage and just hide in there.
01:00She'll say hi to you and then run away.
01:01She likes to be by herself for the most part.
01:04And she doesn't do too well with Millie.
01:07She's getting used to her.
01:08And then we have Millie here who is currently knocked out.
01:11She's goofy.
01:12We can definitely say that.
01:13Bringing that we had her for two weeks now, they're slowly but surely working her.
01:18She's working her way into the fact that these two have already.
01:21It's funny seeing the difference between little dogs and big dogs because she, like, lays differently.
01:26Like, spreads out everywhere.
01:28And she's just goofy.
01:30I don't know how to call it.
01:31She's silly Millie.
01:32Why do you like Millie?
01:34She's always playful.
01:36Like, sometimes when you play football, she tries to chase me.
01:40She's a little sweet in this room.
01:41Defense.
01:42Good defense.
01:43Doggy defense.
01:44I think it's a good way to kind of get the kids to understand compassion in a way.
01:49Some days we have bad days, but our animals always there to show us some love when we need it.
01:55Getting extra love and giving the extra love.
01:57They recently just got their yearly shots.
02:01And Mila had a reaction to one of them.
02:03And I went on full mom mode like I would have with the kids where I'm calling the vet.
02:08The vet was closed at that time.
02:09And thankfully, one of our neighbors is a vet.
02:11So she came over to look.
02:12And I had to know the right dosage to give her a Benadryl because of the reaction.
02:16And I'm like, this is really another kid.
02:18So I love the Buddies app.
02:20I feel like when I lay down in bed and I start scrolling on my phone, I'm on the Buddies app
02:26trying to connect with other dog parents to get little facts about my dog because I have
02:32three different breed dogs.
02:34And so it's interesting to learn things about different ones.
02:37And now Millie is a standard poodle.
02:39So it's nice to connect with other dog owners who have standard poodles.
02:42And they can say that this type of behavior is perfectly normal.
02:45Overall, it really helps me to be a better pet parent.
02:47So it's definitely very helpful.
02:49So we believe in rewards for our dogs.
02:52We feel like everything, like positive behavior should really be reinforced.
02:55That's how they learn.
02:57When you're training a puppy, just for walking alongside you on the leash or stopping when
03:01a car is going by or learning to do paw or sit, those are all things that you feed them
03:05constant treats for.
03:06So the actual bits itself, it's perfect because we have a puppy.
03:10We use that to reward her.
03:11She's already learned how to sit.
03:13And now we're working on the leash.
03:15So the bits play a big role in that.
03:16So it's important that you're giving them the best nutrition and something that's not too
03:19hard for their teeth because, again, they're just puppies.
03:22So something that I could do for my older dogs, I may not be able to do for our new puppy.
03:25Our oldest dog went through changes.
03:27Obviously, he was a puppy at one point.
03:29But as he got older, he became a little bit more pickier with his food.
03:32But I'm glad that Blue Buffalo had something for him and that he loves.
03:36Miko loves the grillers.
03:37That's one of his favorite treats.
03:39And then Myla, she is all about the jerky bites.
03:41So those are all things that we love to give them, especially when they're being good,
03:44that they went potty.
03:45So the jerky and griller bites are really good for the older ones.
03:48They just play a big part of our family.
03:50Like, I look at them as my fifth, sixth, and seventh child.
03:52Like, I'm beyond thankful for them.
