00:00Having emotions are not good or bad. They're just our bodies we have indicating to us that
00:05this is the way that we're experiencing the world around us. And an example that I would give to
00:11further help people understand, it's like the feeling of hunger that shows up in our body as
00:18headaches, hunger patterns, difficulty focusing. And we don't judge that feeling of hunger and
00:25that distress that we have in our body as a bad feeling, we appreciate it as hunger, and then we
00:31provide our body with the nutrients that it needs. So if we approach other emotions like anxiety,
00:39shame, disappointment, sadness, in that same way of appreciation and compassion,
00:46then rather than wanting from and avoiding the emotions, we're able to then provide our body
00:53with what it needs.
00:55We'll see you next time.
