00:14superwoman complex expert my question is this with the recent ongoing hashtag ch bullying in the
00:22clubhouse app by uh certain you know celebrities uh against my fellow black female physicians
00:29how are we as a people supposed to heal from this pandemic treat our patients and educate
00:35properly on the vaccine if we keep tearing each other down particularly those who are advocating
00:40for us in the medical system what i would say is that in terms of healing one of the ways that we
00:46can heal is to make sure that we work together that is physicians that is patients that is people
00:51we are starting a new day luckily 2020 was off to a rocky start but i have a lot of faith
00:57and i have a lot of hope and faith and a higher power regardless of what you believe in and where
01:02your belief stands guys we can really make a difference and i really believe that things
01:07are looking up with this pandemic we have to work together that is black physicians black patients
01:13all of us family friends we have to take our friends our family to the doctor make sure that
01:18we're educating one another about the truths about covid not the myths the truths about the covid 19 vaccine
01:25uh we have to take care of one another we have to look after one another and i also think quite
01:29honestly it's okay to give each other a nice pat on the back every once in a while because you know
01:34what we all certainly need it doc swiner i give you a lot of credit i appreciate you for being a voice
01:41for other people for sharing a message and to all my fellow colleagues out there this answer that i'm
01:47giving really is really the start of a conversation it's not an answer it's the start for our conversation
01:51about how we all are going to continue to work together now last thing i'll say before i go is
01:58we're going to heal i know this things are going to get better it's a brighter day already but we
02:05have work to do so everyone what i can say is as we've taught 400 000 deaths of americans in this
02:11country from covid 19 every single day we lose more please make sure you're getting vaccinated from
02:17the covid vaccine make sure that you're taking precaution wearing face masks social distancing
02:21please don't get together with people outside of your household uh please listen to your doctor and
02:26to all my physician colleagues out there praise god and thank god for you uh guys i'm dr jen
