00:00As your parent, it is my job to make sure that you have a good education so that you can get a good job and eventually your own place.
00:08Yeah, somebody's got to break the cycle.
00:14Congratulations on another season of Family Reunion.
00:18I would love to start with, you know, how it feels to have a show be this successful.
00:23I personally love it just because I think, you know, it's fun.
00:26It's lighthearted. It's age appropriate for kids, which we haven't seen in a while from a sitcom.
00:31So I would love, you know, for you all being a part of this, what it feels like for this to be something that succeeds and gets renewed.
00:37Personally, for me, I love the fact that, you know, it's taken off the way it has.
00:43I think we have a great show. I think the cast and the way that we interact is something special.
00:48I don't think it happens in every sitcom. And I think fans feel that.
00:51I think they know that when they turn on an episode of Family Reunion, it's going to be energetic.
00:56It's going to be fun. It's going to be positive. You're going to be entertained and educated.
01:00So I think those two things don't happen often.
01:02And when they all come together, you get something special, which is what I think we have.
01:05I think for me, just from a personal approach or a personal level, I love that the show is doing exceptionally well,
01:15you know, so that other people can laugh, learn, have great entertainment.
01:21But on a personal level, I just love coming to work.
01:24It feels so rewarding that, you know, while we're having fun doing this, these episodes,
01:29people are at home are also having fun and enjoying them.
01:33But I think the reason why they come out just so great is because of what's happening behind the scenes.
01:39We all get along. We have such a great time together.
01:42And we want to put great episodes out there for everyone to watch.
01:46So it's very rewarding.
01:49Have you missed the line?
01:50Oh, I'm answering that one, too.
01:54She's like, that's it. You're done, right? We're good.
01:57Everything they said, ditto.
01:58Now, how much like each of your characters are you all as parents?
02:07I'm a step-parent.
02:09So I'm not anything like my character.
02:13I don't discipline.
02:15I don't do none of that.
02:16I just share money at as many kids as I can.
02:22Go ahead, Tia.
02:23Are you like the best?
02:24Oh, you know, I am so much like Coco.
02:27It's not even funny.
02:27Like, I get so excited when I get to read a script because I'm like, this is so me that it's crazy.
02:36You know, I feel like the show is about tradition versus non-tradition.
02:40And, you know, I was raised in a traditional household, like very traditional.
02:45And I, you know, I grew up in saying I'm going to rebel against that.
02:50Not in a negative way, but of course there's some teachings and learnings that I've learned from my mother.
02:55Like Loretta said, I mean, that turned out great.
02:57You know, but I'm all about just trying new age, you know, approaches when it comes to parenting.
03:05I love having fun.
03:07I love being that fun, cool mom.
03:10I don't, you know, partake in spanking.
03:13There's different ways on how I discipline my children.
03:17Not that there's anything wrong with the other way.
03:20But, you know, I'm very motherly.
03:22I'm very nurturing.
03:23And that's Coco.
03:24She's going to wish someday she had.
03:27She goes, I should have spanked to see her.
03:29I knew she was going to say something.
03:31Of course you're losing to Loretta and spanked.
03:32And you're like, Coco and Madeer, it's like in real life, like with my mom, you know, and me.
03:39I'm like, oh my gosh, I've heard this.
03:41Like the stuff that comes out of Madeer's mouth.
03:43I'm like, I've heard this.
03:44I cannot tell you how.
03:45Don't I tell you that, Loretta?
03:46Oh, it's sad.
03:47I'm like, I've heard this so many times from my mother or my grandmother.
03:51It's crazy.
03:52So, but anyway.
03:54Well, I have one minute.
03:55So I would love if each of you could tell your favorite episode so far.
03:59Oh, my God.
04:00You want to go in?
04:01Yeah.
04:01I would say the historical episode.
04:03I'm just going to say that because I don't want to ruin it.
04:05But you know what I'm talking about.
04:07It's the historical episode.
04:08Okay.
04:08Okay.
04:09That was one of my favorites, too.
04:11So I was going to say the historical episode.
04:13You guys will know what we're talking about.
04:14I can't wait to see Tia's episode with the reality ladies.
04:19Yeah.
04:20That's going to be a good one.
04:21See by Coco.
04:22I'm going to be different because all y'all said the historical ones.
04:25But I want to see that one, too.
04:27But the one that I want to see as well as the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:32Okay.
04:32And I'm like trying to sell my jewelry.
04:36See by Coco.
04:38Yes.
04:44I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:45I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:46I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:47I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:48I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:49I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:50I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:51I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:52I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:53I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:54I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:55I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:56I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
04:57I'm going to be different from the Housewives of Atlanta.
