00:11We're doing makeovers, everybody come and see all the beauty in here at Junkies!
00:15So what happened was, we went out and scanned the audience a little bit earlier
00:21and we found a fabulous, gorgeous girl, who was beautiful anyway, but we were in a makeover mood.
00:29And her name is Ivana.
00:31And we have a really amazing glam squad, a celebrity glam squad.
00:36Can we have you guys come out?
00:38This is Brandi Gomez DuPleces.
00:40She's a genius makeup artist in New York City.
00:43And then we have Myesha Teacher, who's a hair stylist.
00:46She has her own salon, BB Salon in Harlem.
00:49Talk a little bit about what we're gonna do to Ivana.
00:52I wanted to give her a fun glam look for tonight.
00:56I didn't want to give her too much color on her skin.
01:00She's amazing skin.
01:02So I used the bronzer to give her that glow, to give her that more of a fresh look.
01:08So what we decided to do with her was to do a very loose wave with the curling iron.
01:14The large barrel curling iron.
01:16So that we can just create a wave prestige instead of having long straight hair in the summertime with the humidity.
01:22So if your hair does rise, it doesn't look so crazy.
01:26Your curls don't drop so much.
01:27So we just did a nice, soft wave in her hair.
01:29We used a little bit of light curling wax to actually hold it through the humidity.
01:34And then we gave her a cute little funky braid.
01:41So we did our makeover on Ivana.
01:44She looks amazing.
01:46She's already looking fabulous for a hot night out on the town.
01:50So do you want to talk a little bit about what you did to the fabulous Ivana?
01:55I gave her a smokey eye makeup application.
01:59And again, instead of going with a black, I decided to do a midnight blue.
02:03I thought it would be great on her skin tone.
02:05And then I added a bronzer.
02:07Instead of using blush, I felt like that would be a great look for her.
02:11So she is pretty young.
02:12And then because she is a young girl, I decided to go with a pink and then tack it off with a little bit of lip gloss.
02:18And like I said before, so that she wouldn't be so conscientious about her hair rising up tonight.
02:25Even with the humidity, she'll still have a nice, light wave to her hair and some sort of texture to it.
02:31So what's your favorite part about the look?
02:33I don't know. I've never really had my whole face done or, you know, just have makeup.
02:38So it's really nice to just see myself all pretty and dolled up.
02:41So I think that's my favorite part is just seeing myself in a different light and not as regular.
