00:17And so I want to say thank you to our Essence family.
00:21This is our 24th annual Essence Festival, and New Orleans is always the best host possible.
00:29And we want to make sure that we continue this strong, strong partnership.
00:34To all of you who have taken the time, dug into your pockets to make this trip possible
00:41for you and your family, thank you so much.
00:45Because this is how we connect as people, as African Americans, as women strong and empowered.
00:52We need to continue to not only elevate, but to ensure that all of our people can reach
00:57their full potential where we live, of course in our city, but throughout our country.
01:03And we have a responsibility to do that.
