00:00It's not in the contract.
00:09You know what?
00:10That's so interesting.
00:11I never thought that that would be sort of my calling card.
00:14I honestly, I love to laugh way more than I like to cry.
00:18I'm going to start doing more stuff that doesn't make people cry, I promise, so that there
00:23will be balance brought back to the universe.
00:26That is now my job.
00:30My baby hasn't seen it, he's two and a half.
00:32My big boy is six and a half and he has seen it, and he enjoyed it.
00:37It was particularly tough for him because he had to see his father pass away, and then
00:45he had to see his father's son pass away, and I've never seen him cry more.
00:53Now both of us cried pretty hard in Pete's Dragon.
00:56Don't laugh, but this may have superseded Pete's Dragon.
01:04Number one, never stop talking.
01:07Problems arise when people stop talking to each other.
01:09You're like, I don't feel like Dylan, I don't feel like Dylan, things get to fester, don't
01:12do that.
01:14Laugh a lot.
01:15We crack each other up constantly.
01:22Randall is such a caring individual.
01:25If anything, his Achilles heel is that he feels too much, but his feeling keeps him open and
01:31available to anything, to anyone.
01:34Like he's not someone who closes himself off, right?
01:38So I've learned in those instances in my own life when I feel like I don't want to deal,
01:42I just want to kind of like shut in.
01:43I was like, no, it's time to even open into that, right?
01:48That's one.
01:49And then Roland, having the history with PTSD that he had, he had a level of patience that
01:55I think supersedes my own, right?
01:58And so what I learned from him is that like, when you get frustrated, right, that is the
02:04time when you have to like go outside of yourself and your own feelings and be like, what can
02:09I do to be of service?
02:11How can I help you in this moment?
02:13You know, I do the best I can and I feel like that's the way most people are.
02:17We do the best that we can until we know how to do better and Sterling Brown is someone
02:22who prides himself on putting his best foot forward.
02:26So whether it is Roland or Randall or Njobu or whom have you, I'm trying to put my best
02:32foot forward.
