00:25because of uh the lyrics man um i don't think people have really heard me talk like this before
00:32uh very very in your face confident you know like this is what i bring to the table take that um and
00:42i love i love one of my favorite times to listen to it is when i just get in the car and my hair is
00:47freshly done and my makeup is freshly done i'm driving to wherever and i'm like yeah okay i might
00:51look good today i'm like this and i wanted it to be unfiltered i wanted it to be real i wanted
00:56people to be able to relate to it and uh i think that that that's exactly what they're doing yeah
01:01and it felt so real i felt like i know was there anything that in your personal life that inspired
01:07the music and sort of those situations we saw play out absolutely really yeah especially with this album
01:13i feel um i feel um i was definitely um more open i i stepped out of my comfort zone i've always been
01:22uh the type i'm over protective of my space very over protective of my heart and my personal life
01:29because i feel like that's all i have um but it's crazy because you know i'll go and and i'll speak to
01:37you know kids at the boys and girls club or or just you know share my testimony and i have no problem
01:42with being open but i'm like why can i do that in my music you know what i mean yeah and so i made the
01:47decision um with this album to say you know what i'm i'm gonna speak through my music i'm gonna share
01:53i know i'm not the only one going through um the ups and downs of love you know what i mean
