00:10The idea of Currency Conversations came about as a result of understanding that there was this need in the black community to start to spark this dialogue amongst intergenerational black women.
00:20We want you to have these conversations with yourself, with your friends, with your family, within the community.
00:24Black women do have unique challenges and how do we hit those head-on in a way that's very effective.
00:34To see people who look like me makes me feel like I too can go out there and do great things with my finances.
00:40I have been delighted to go from one city to the next and see the enthusiasm that all of the women have had about taking charge of their financial lives.
