00:00Frankly, I was a little afraid to do a roll out so outside of my own life, so
00:08different from me, and as far as thinking, in terms of my sexual expression, but as
00:14a storyteller, as an advocate, an ally of the LGBTQ community, I serve on the board
00:20of the Black AIDS Institute and have for about eight years now, so I was like,
00:24these are my sisters, they are lovely, they got a story to tell, I'm a storyteller,
00:29I think I can do that, so yeah, okay, I'll kiss a girl.
00:33I owe my whole career to black women, they've supported me my entire career,
00:40and so anytime I get a chance to, you know, support them in a project, I remember when
00:46they asked me to do Waiting to Exhale, and I was like, sure, women to lead, I'm like,
00:50I'm down, so I'm just so happy I could be here to support, be part of this amazing
00:54cast with these beautiful women, and you know, we're pushing the envelope.
