00:00Happy Thanksgiving! Today on Essence Live, my girl Erykah Badu stops by to chat
00:05Soul Train Awards and her friendship with Drake. Ms. Robbie from Owens Welcome to Sweetie Pies
00:10makes her sky-high sweet potato pie. We will take a look back on our favorite moments from the show
00:15thus far. But first, let's see how your favorite stars are celebrating Thanksgiving. Don't go
00:21anywhere because Essence Live starts now.
00:27Man, we get turnt up. We get turnt up. It's a beautiful thing, man, because we invite
00:32all of the family over. But it's really my wife's family because I was adopted, so, you know,
00:38my side of the family is very thin. But my wife has a very beautiful family and it's a day that I
00:44get to celebrate her mom. So what I do for her mom is I have a chef come and the chef cooks and just
00:51kills it. And we just celebrate on our mama. You know what I mean? We just, you know, sit around
00:56and then everybody stands in line to get into the bathroom. And somebody blew the bathroom up a
01:02little too much. And we had to call a plumber. We had to call a plumber Thanksgiving because it was
01:06wrong. It was wrong. It was just, it was wrong. And I'm not going to say whose fault that was. It
01:12wasn't mine. But somebody tore our house up. You won't find chitlins. They stank. You won't find
01:21you know, pig feed and all that other mess, you know. But you find sweets. You find a
01:28lot of sweets. I have a sweet tooth. Because, you know, for the most part, it's like I try
01:32to eat really clean. I diet a lot. So Thanksgiving is the day when I do the food. So I do the food.
01:39And I'll eat as much as I can. It's half a plumber. I have details if you want to hit me at
01:44perfectly.com. My craziest Thanksgiving story is when my grandmother took me to the pumpkin
01:54patch and I got a pumpkin. And I just thought it was my pumpkin. I did not know that she
02:01was going to make pumpkin pie. So when I went to bed, I woke up and I couldn't find my pumpkin.
02:07And I said, Grandma, where's my pumpkin? She said, I made pumpkin pie. See, it was like
02:12four pumpkin pies. I took one of the pumpkin pies and I threw it in the trash can and I
02:17said, this is not my pumpkin. I just had a fit, you know. I got my butt tapped, but, you
02:23know. That's a crazy Thanksgiving story. I just didn't understand. I was like seven years old.
02:29I was so hurt. I was like, why would you do that to my pumpkin? Like, you know.
02:36Did you eat the pie? I ate the pie. I sure did. But, you know, after I got my little
02:43booty tapped, but now it's kind of quiet. So, and grandmother is like 90 something
02:48years old. So it's really quiet and quaint. Not too much. Not too many bells and whistles.
02:52So we do that first. Then I go to the friend's house and I, you know, get my eggnog on and
02:57grandma eggnog on. I'm thankful for the gift of song. I'm thankful for the gift that
03:03God gave me to do what I'm supposed to be doing.
03:10Ooh, ah. I would have to go with sweet potato pie.
03:14Yams are sweet potatoes. What is it? Tell me what it is.
03:17Mmm. Ah, man. Sweet potato pie. I'm going to say sweet potatoes because I definitely know what they are.
03:23I'll have the candy yams because if it's not sweet potato pie, then I'll just have some, you know,
03:27some, uh, pecan pie.
03:31Pass.
03:32Why not? Wait.
03:33They go together.
03:34How?
03:35You gotta have cranberry sauce and you gotta have stuffing.
03:38Cause I like both.
03:41I am the god of my existence. I want both.
03:45Okay. Uh, I gotta have the...
03:48Stuffing.
03:49I'll go with stuffing.
03:50Stuffing.
03:51For the game.
03:52Stuffing.
03:54Turkey, for sure.
03:57Turkey.
03:58Turkey.
03:59We don't eat the swine.
04:00Put the turkey right back.
04:02Let's go.
04:05Welcome back to the special Thanksgiving edition of Essence Live.
04:08I'm your host, Dana Blair, and I'm joined today by Miss Robbie of the world-famous Sweetie Pies in St. Louis.
04:13How are you?
04:14I'm wonderful. Thank you for having me.
04:16Thank you for coming. I'm super excited because I'm a southern girl. You know I like to eat.
04:19Alright.
04:20So what are we going to make today?
04:22Today we're going to make our sweet potato pie, which is my mom's recipe.
04:26Okay.
04:27She's a southern girl.
04:28And so what I do, I boil my sweet potato or yam in the peeling.
04:32Okay.
04:33Then I mash them up.
04:34I add my butter.
04:35I'm just going to do your quick go through.
04:37Sure, sure.
04:38Add my butter.
04:39I add nutmeg, cinnamon.
04:41I'm just going to dump it in here.
04:42No problem.
04:43And don't worry, Essence Live, we're going to have this recipe on our website.
04:46Yes.
04:47Flour.
04:48A little flour.
04:49That's going to hold it together for you.
04:51Oh, okay.
04:52My sugar.
04:53Don't forget the sugar.
04:54Now, if the recipe doesn't call for enough sugar, taste your filling.
04:57If it's not sweet enough, add more.
04:58A little salt.
04:59Let's see how you feel about it.
05:00Yes, a little salt.
05:01And a pinch of bacon powder to make it light.
05:04When I get this all mixed up, then I add my eggs.
05:07I use three eggs to a pie.
05:09If you're going to make 20 pies, use three eggs to a pie.
05:11Three eggs to a pie.
05:12Yes.
05:13Now, Ms. Robbie, what's the difference between a yam and a sweet potato?
05:15A yam is a part of the grass family.
05:17I kind of researched it to see the difference.
05:19Okay.
05:20And a sweet potato is a part of the Wally Lily family.
05:23A lot of people don't know, but they both make great pies.
05:26So, wherever place you live, some might have yams, some might have sweet potato.
05:30But they make great pies.
05:31And which do you prefer?
05:32I prefer the sweet potatoes.
05:34Okay.
05:35Because they are more available in where I live in St. Louis.
05:37So, after I get my yams mixed up and all this, I add my eggs.
05:41Okay.
05:42And then.
05:43It will look like this.
05:44I'll take this out of your way.
05:45It will look like this.
05:46This is our filling.
05:47Mm-hmm.
05:48I like to brown my crust first.
05:50We have a crust brown.
05:51Okay.
05:52Now, let me take a quick step back.
05:53Okay.
05:54Is it okay if I use a store-bought crust like this?
05:57Yes.
05:58If it's a good one, I always prefer the better of the store-bought crust.
06:00You can use that or you can make your own.
06:02Okay.
06:03I like to brown it first.
06:06Okay.
06:07A little tip is I brush it with butter.
06:08Ooh.
06:09Then brown it makes it really light and crispy.
06:11Mm-hmm.
06:12Then you add your filling in your already browned shell.
06:14And now, I took a shot at it.
06:15Did you?
06:16Don't judge me now.
06:17I won't.
06:18It's my first time.
06:19Okay.
06:20I'm good with the savory, but not so much with the sweet.
06:21So, this is my crust.
06:22All right.
06:23It's a good first try crust.
06:24It is.
06:25It looks great.
06:26And I put the little holes in there so it can vent and crispier.
06:29Now, next time though, I'm going to try that butter trick that you mentioned to me.
06:32Yeah, just brush it a little bit.
06:33Okay.
06:34I mean, a lot of people, if you're watching your weight, don't use the butter.
06:36Gotcha.
06:37So, you know how that goes.
06:38You know how that goes.
06:39Okay, so this is going to go in there.
06:40In there, yes.
06:41Okie dokie.
06:42You want to do it?
06:43No, you can do it.
06:44I was going to hold the hydrate for you.
06:45Okay.
06:46Okay.
06:47You seem like a pro though.
06:48I am.
06:49You don't spill.
06:50I do this all the time.
06:51Now, Ms. Crombey, some of us, you know, might be trying to impress new relatives, boyfriends,
06:57booze, so on and so forth.
07:00Okay.
07:01For Thanksgiving.
07:02Is this a relatively easy recipe to try for the first time or the second time?
07:07Easy.
07:08You see how I just dumped everything in?
07:09I mean, it doesn't take a genius or science rocket or nothing.
07:12You know, just dump it all in and it tastes just as well.
07:15And a lot of people want to do this one at a time.
07:18I dump them all.
07:19Dump them all.
07:20And keep going.
07:21And taste this.
07:22Make sure it's sweet enough for your taste.
07:24Put it in the oven.
07:25When it comes out, you can add a little whipped cream.
07:28You can add pecans to this.
07:29You can add pineapple to this.
07:31Oh, I never thought about pineapple.
07:32Yes, you can do all kinds of things with it.
07:34Now, I know you cook for a living and you have your restaurants.
07:37Yes.
07:38You cook for Thanksgiving?
07:39I cook for Thanksgiving.
07:40What?
07:41They don't give you a day off?
07:42Not a day.
07:43You know, my sister and I, we divide the holidays.
07:45Thanksgiving is my day.
07:46Okay.
07:47Another sister takes 4th of July.
07:48Another sister takes Christmas.
07:49Okay.
07:50Thanksgiving is the biggest.
07:51So, I got the restaurant.
07:52I got all these access to everything.
07:55We have a big spread.
07:56Everything.
07:57Everything you can think of.
07:58I would want your holidays.
07:59All right.
08:00Come on over.
08:01Now, Ms. Robbie, how long do I put this in the oven and what's my temperature?
08:04Well, usually I'd say 35 to 40 minutes until it firms.
08:08Okay.
08:09Or if it's browned enough on top.
08:10Okay.
08:11Now, me personally, I like a little burnt.
08:12Mm-hmm.
08:13Sweet potato.
08:14Yes.
08:15I like mine to get a little burnt on the top.
08:17On the top.
08:18And then I take it out.
08:19Now, this recipe takes a while.
08:21So, we've got a pie already baking.
08:22Yes.
08:23Okay.
08:24So, we'll be right back.
08:25My mom's food is spiritual.
08:28It really is.
08:29I would prefer, even though I'm all natural and stuff now, the cranberry sauce out of
08:34the can that you got to go .
08:36I like that better.
08:37I don't like the berries and all that kind of stuff.
08:40And then my mom makes me my own stuffing because my stuffing has raisins in it.
08:43Stuffing is such a mixture of stuff that you don't want to trust everybody to put their
08:47hand in it.
08:48Because you don't know what's at the bottom.
08:50You know what's at the bottom of that bowl.
08:51I like my mother's macaroni and cheese.
08:53But it's different ways of making mac and cheese.
08:55Like a truffle mac and cheese.
08:56A triple, like, cheese mac and cheese.
08:58Oh, bacon mac and cheese.
09:00She puts her, you know, cream of mushroom in there.
09:04And a lot of people don't do that.
09:06And it gives it a whole other, you know, element to it.
09:10My mom, she actually puts the layers on and she makes it almost like a cake.
09:14Mac and cheese that's all stuck together like plastic that you can pull like this.
09:19I can tell when it's not cream of mushroom in the macaroni and cheese.
09:22Because it don't have that moisture that I'm looking for.
09:24If my mom didn't make the macaroni and cheese, I don't want it.
09:27I just can't compromise on that.
09:29It may kill me, but damn, that's just some good death.

10:08Now I'm beyond thrilled to have our guests joining me in studio.
10:27A Soul Siren, your favorite Vine star, the supreme Twitter clapback queen and the host of the 2015 Soul Train Awards.
10:33Airing November 29th on BET and Centric, Miss Erica Badu.
10:36How you doing?
10:37I'm awesome. How are you?
10:38I'm fabulous.
10:39I'm exquisite.
10:40You're exquisite. I like that.
10:41Thank you so very, very much for joining us.
10:42I'm super excited to have you here in studio.
10:44Thank you. Thank you for having me.
10:46Thank you. So this year for the 2015 Soul Train Awards, you're not just the host, but you're also the associate producer?
10:52Yeah, I'm producing along with Jesse Collins' company, you know, just writing and formatting some of my own things.
11:03So I'm able to see my funny crystallized in front of an audience and that's exciting.
11:10Yeah.
11:11So do you think we'll see maybe some more production work and maybe some directing in Erica Badu's future?
11:16Well, yeah, hopefully. I've directed all my videos, you know, up till now.
11:22Yeah. And love being behind the camera just as much as in front of it. Yeah, so.
11:26Awesome.
11:27Definitely.
11:28Definitely.
11:29We'll be hearing any of your new music coming up on the show because we heard you drop the Hotline Bling remix.
11:33Yeah.
11:34Do you have any new music or anything that we'll hear on the Soul Train Awards from you?
11:37On Soul Train Awards, I might do just a little bit, you know, of something from the mixtape, yes.
11:43Okay. All right. Okay. Now we have a super fan on the line who cannot wait to talk to you.
11:48Okay. All right.
11:49Caller, what's your name and where are you calling from?
11:53Hello. This is Denise from New York, New York. What up?
11:57What's up, Denise?
11:59Hi, Miss Badu. I love you so much and I'm so grateful for everything you give us.
12:04Love you back.
12:06My question for you is your remix to the Hotline Bling was, you know, so refreshing though, per usual.
12:13And I wanted to know what was your message behind it and do you think you could make Drake put down his phone?
12:20Oh.
12:21That's two questions.
12:22She got a two for one and now she slipped it in.
12:24She got a two for one.
12:25Well, um, Hotline Bling, I just did that because it was Big Mike's birthday and it was his favorite song.
12:34And I just kind of, you know, went in the studio and did it with my production partner, Zach Witness.
12:40And it came out to be, you know, really cool.
12:43And I just posted it up with no announcement on my SoundCloud.
12:49And it took off like wildfire.
12:50It took off like wildfire, which inspired me to do a whole mixtape.
12:55Yeah.
12:56I love that.
12:57That's one thing you have to love about social media.
12:58You get that instant feedback and that spread and that love.
13:01Yeah, man.
13:02It's social evolution, definitely.
13:04Now, Drake has even rapped about the fact that y'all are friends, that he's come by your house.
13:09You've given him relationship advice.
13:10Yeah.
13:11So what's the tea?
13:12Like, what kind of advice do you give, say, your friends on relationships?
13:15It just depends on what it is.
13:17You know, we give each other advice, you know.
13:19More than anything, we listen to one another.
13:21Which is important.
13:22Very important.
13:23Yeah.
13:24And if there is something that needs to be said, you know, of course, it's our own opinion.
13:30But, you know, for the most part, we just kind of try to let each other live and experience.
13:36And that's a powerful thing in itself because sometimes you find friends or family members
13:39don't want to let you do you or be you.
13:41Yeah.
13:42And they want to try to kind of shape and shift things.
13:44Sure.
13:45Yeah.
13:46So that's a good thing.
13:47Now, Shonda Rhimes recently sat down with Oprah.
13:48She has this big book out now, Shonda does, called The Year of Yes.
13:51Okay.
13:52And she talks about her revelations and opening herself up and saying yes to more things.
13:55Sure.
13:56So when she was speaking with Oprah, they would talk about how they both decided they never
13:59wanted to get married.
14:00Okay.
14:01Do you have any thoughts or opinions on that, on marriage, on whether or not you want to
14:04get married or that choice for women?
14:06No.
14:07No, I don't have any strong opinions on it.
14:09I think, you know, when you fall in love with someone, the goal is to be together forever.
14:13Right.
14:14Ever, ever.
14:15Forever, ever?
14:16Forever.
14:17You know?
14:18And, you know, you just have to, when we're learning and learning ourselves and learning how
14:23to be with someone and share space, you never know what happens.
14:29And I think when you meet someone who has the right chemistry for you, I'm so happy, you
14:35know, for people that do that.
14:37I mean, I think that, you know, finding a life partner is an amazing thing in this world.
14:43You know?
14:44I encourage that, too.
14:46Or I encourage it, you know, when it's time to go.
14:48Gotta go.
14:49Follow your heart.
14:50No matter what it is.
14:51It's the heart that kind of tells you which way to go.
14:54And there's a reason it's speaking to you at that time.
14:56Yeah.
14:57I understand that.
14:58So, are you ready to kind of lighten the mood a little bit?
15:00Play a game with me?
15:01Yes.
15:02Let's play a game.
15:03Let's play a game.
15:04Let me see if it's polished first.
15:05Oh, it's like a little, it's like a green speckled citrus.
15:08I love that.
15:09Don't look at my cuticles.
15:10I'm not looking at your cuticles.
15:12It's beautiful.
15:13Thank you so much.
15:14Yeah.
15:15All right.
15:16So, we have a little board that we made here.
15:17Okay.
15:18The smiling side is the by do.
15:19Okay.
15:20The not smiling side is the by don't.
15:23I get it.
15:24All right.
15:25So, I'm going to give this to you.
15:26Okay.
15:27So, here's how it works.
15:28All right.
15:29Okay.
15:30Folks say that you have a way with the fellas.
15:31So, we're going to name some famous men and you tell us if you would by do or by don't
15:34them.
15:35What?
15:36You can interpret that however you want.
15:37So, you can by do or by don't him for any reason you would like.
15:40No.
15:41Okay.
15:42It doesn't matter and we have this visual aid for you.
15:44All right.
15:45Y'all set me up.
15:46Do you think you're ready to play?
15:47I'm not ready, but I mean, okay.
15:50All right.
15:51It'll be fun.
15:52It'll be fun.
15:53All right.
15:54All right.
15:55All right.
15:56What if I don't?
15:57I think most of our essence audience would agree with you.
15:59Over here.
16:00I think most of our essence audience would agree with you on Idris.
16:03Do you want to say why?
16:04Why he's a Badu?
16:05I think he's a Badu.
16:06I think Idris has a really nice voice.
16:07Nice presence.
16:08And he's a great DJ.
16:09He's multifaceted.
16:10Many layers.
16:11Many layers to his thing.
16:12All right.
16:13I like that.
16:14Okay.
16:15Okay.
16:16Next.
16:17Kendrick Lamar.
16:18Badu.
16:19I like Kendrick Lamar.
16:20Great mind.
16:21I love his perspective.
16:22Music is always creative and innovative.
16:24All right.
16:25Lucius Lyon.
16:26We're talking about music.
16:27Who is that?
16:28From Empire.
16:29Oh.
16:30Oh.
16:31Oh.
16:32Oh.
16:33Oh.
16:34Oh.
16:35Oh.
16:36Oh.
16:37Oh.
16:38Oh.
16:39Oh.
16:40Oh.
16:41Oh.
16:42Oh.
16:43Oh.
16:44Oh.
16:45Oh.
16:46Oh.
16:47I would have to say in the middle.
16:48Cause I would have to know who that is.
16:49I don't know who that is.
16:50Played by Taryn Tower.
16:51He's the lead.
16:52It's like a bye on the fence.
16:55Okay.
16:56Okay.
16:57We'll take that.
16:58That works.
16:59No.
17:00I mean I can't put him on the fence.
17:01I gotta do it this way.
17:02I don't.
17:03I'm not hip to it but you know.
17:04What you think about it?
17:05Let's let you do this one.
17:06I'm gonna say it but don't.
17:07A bye don't?
17:08I'm gonna say it but don't.
17:09Okay.
17:10All right.
17:11Just roll with me on this one.
17:12It's not me, Lucien.
17:13I'll fill you in a little bit later.
17:14Okay.
17:15So if I don't.
17:16All right.
17:17Maxwell.
17:18I do.
17:19I do.
17:20Why?
17:21Max is very clean and he's a really good person.
17:25You know.
17:26He's honest and you know that's what we want when it comes to art.
17:30We just, our only job is to be honest and I feel that honesty from him.
17:34And it's hard to find honest people in his face sometimes.
17:37Yeah.
17:38Yeah.
17:39Yeah.
17:40All right.
17:41Donald Trump.
17:42Um.
17:43I mean see if I need something from Donald Trump it's gonna mess me up.
17:49I'm gonna have to say.
17:50On the fence.
17:51On the fence.
17:52I'm gonna have to say Badu.
17:53You know why?
17:54Okay.
17:55Because he, whatever he trying to do, he doing it.
17:56You know whatever he's trying to accomplish, he's accomplishing it.
17:57You know I look at my children and you know he's a powerful person.
18:10So when I look at my kids you know they could either be Martin Luther King or they could
18:13turn out to be Hitler.
18:14You know you just never know.
18:15You never know.
18:16But I would say he is doing whatever it is he's setting out to do.
18:20He's creating dialogue.
18:22And as a sociologist I look at that kind of thing as success.
18:26You know opinion about who he is I can't judge that cause I'm no Judy.
18:30But yeah.
18:31I understand.
18:32Thank you so very much Ms. Mardu for taking the time to sit and speak with us.
18:35Indeed.
18:36I greatly greatly appreciate it.

19:12And I'm excited about it.
19:14And I did perform one of the songs on Soul Train.
19:17And you know.
19:18I can also say that your lap is very soft.
19:21But in a good way.
19:23In a good soft way.
19:24In a good soft way.
19:25Soft is usually not good.
19:27That's usually if I don't.
19:28But right now you're feeling uh.
19:30Listen to that people.
19:33Soft eyes.
19:34So this is going to help my dating life.
19:35I've never sat on a girl's lap before.

19:49If I don't go nowhere.
20:19Half- gravity.
20:26Alright Essence Live.
20:27We have now officially stepped into the steam room.
20:31Thomas are ready?
20:32Oh man

20:40Alright.
20:41So you ready for the first question?
20:42Yeah let's go.
20:43Alright.
20:44And you have to be honest.
20:45Okay.
20:46No holding back.
20:47What's the last thing you dreamed about?
20:52The last thing I dreamed about?
20:57That you can tell us about?
20:59Because you're taking a little bit of a while there, Thomas.
21:03The last thing I dreamed about was an audition that I have coming up on Thursday.
21:13And I dreamed that I booked a role.
21:16Okay.
21:17What's something sexy you would whisper into a woman's ear?
21:25Come here.
21:26Okay, that's that Barry White.
21:28Come here.
21:29You know what I'm talking about.
21:30Yeah.
21:31All right.
21:32Which part of a woman's body most turns you on?
21:36It would have to be a tie between legs and eyes.
21:58I noticed when we ask steam room questions, your voice has like dropped tremendously.
22:03I'm relaxed.
22:04I'm in the steam room.
22:06Okay.
22:07Okay.
22:08So Mary Jane and Cuddy Buddy like to get down anywhere.
22:11Kitchens, pools, etc.
22:13What's your personal favorite place to have sex?
22:17My personal favorite place to have sex is the couch.
22:30Because the way you're positioned on the couch means you have to move around, which means you'll probably end up in different positions.
22:47Thomas, can you let our viewers see your famous six pack?
22:51Six pack, you can go ahead and you can flex, wink.
22:54Okay.
22:58There you go.
23:01Oh, I'm in the steam room.
23:11Can you work it?
23:24Thank you for being a good sport, Thomas.
23:31All right.
23:32Get my groove on this shit.

24:01You'd say, why you act like that?
24:04Why you gotta act like that?
24:06You can leave, I know you're coming right back.

24:54If it wasn't for my see-through shirt, you'd trip and call me rude.
24:58You would say, why you act like that?
25:01Why you gotta act like that?
25:03You could leave, I know you're coming right back.
25:06Like you ain't really mean it.
25:08Talk time, we take the scene and lean it.
25:11No, you didn't mean it.
25:13You could leave, I know you're coming right back.
25:15I know you didn't mean it.

26:39We're here with Miss Robbie from the hit-owned show.
26:41Welcome to Sweetie Pies.
26:42Our pie is done and it looks amazing.
26:45But before we dig into it, I wanna ask you a few questions about your new season.
26:49Congratulations.
26:52And this time we find you in L.A.
26:53You've opened a new location.
26:54A new location.
26:55A new location.
26:56Yeah.
26:57Another problem.
26:58I mean, everybody in L.A. is vegan or sugar-free.
27:01Uh-oh.
27:02I mean, our thing is butter and sugar.
27:04Which is the best.
27:05So, there's a bunch of restaurants down the street.
27:07We'd love to have you, but we're not vegan.
27:11I heard that.
27:12We're not sugar-free.
27:13We're a soul food southern restaurant.
27:15We'd love to have you, but don't expect to lose weight at Sweetie Pie.
27:19So, we're doing sweet potato pie and all these things my mom taught me.
27:23So, that's where we're at and we're not changing.
27:26We can't change because that's what we're known for.
27:28That's what you're known for.
27:29That's your brand.
27:30And it's a family-run business.
27:31Exactly.
27:32So, how is that working out in L.A.?
27:34That's one of the worst things, working with your family, you know, doing things together.
27:38But Charles is stepping up to the plate.
27:41Okay, go Charles.
27:42This has been a miracle.
27:44Charles is working.
27:45So, I have to go out there and fill his head every once in a while,
27:48make sure he's still alive.
27:49He has a fever.
27:50He's a manager, which he's always wanted to be.
27:53And he's doing a good job.
27:54He's doing a great job.
27:55Good job, Charles.
27:56Turns in the time.
27:57I have to watch him on that because he might put more hours for himself.
28:00So, but he's doing great.
28:01We're really happy.
28:03People are supporting us in L.A.
28:05So, things are working well.
28:06Awesome.
28:07Awesome.
28:08Now, do you think Tim and Janae are ever going to get back together?
28:10I don't think so.
28:11I think both of them have moved on.
28:13I hate that, but I'm just a mom.
28:16I understand.

28:18I understand.
28:19I understand.

28:28What kind of reactions have you gotten from your sweet potato pie?
28:30I know you get some.
28:31Well, you know what?
28:32I've always wanted to put my sweet potato pie out, but she beat me.
28:35Uh-oh.
28:36And I love her.
28:37I mean, she cooked on the road like I did.
28:38We both got the history of the skillet and stuff.
28:41So, good luck to her, but I'm still, mine's is good.
28:44I trust you.
