00:00My motto is a beauty and a beast. You can be a beast in your sport and what you do in your
00:11everyday life to be intense, but I also am really feminine. My femininity is so important to me.
00:18I like to stress that, especially in my sport, to young athletes, letting them know that you
00:24can be a beast in your court, in your sport, field, what have you, but you can be a beauty
00:28off the court as well. We had so many different styles today and I was so excited about that.
00:32Not just wearing a traditional bathing suit, not just a traditional two-piece, but having
00:36asymmetric dresses and different colors and just fun cuts and styles, ruffles. I'd say if I had to pick one,
00:43that's a tough one, the red one. I had a red one. It was asymmetric and it had ruffles on it and it also
00:49happened to be one of my favorite strongest poses of the day. You only get one body and you have to take
00:55care of it. And I think starting at a young age with kids, stressing the importance of eating healthy,
01:00not eating so much sugar, moderation, fast food. But you also have to educate the parents too.
01:06People that lead these lifestyles, that's all they know, whether they grew up eating like this,
01:12or you know, these ways and habits that they establish that they pass on to their kids.
01:17I think being a role model is so important for many reasons. One, I think it's a part of it.
01:21As you're more in the public eye, people start to pay attention to you. Obviously,
01:26I have a lot of young girls that look up to me. I can tell through just social media.
01:30I get it all the time. They come up to me and say, you're my favorite player.
01:33And I think it's so inspiring. But I love to encourage young girls to work hard.
01:40I think discipline is so cliche, work hard. But it does take a lot of discipline.
01:45I encourage young girls to educate themselves. So not just young girls, but women.
01:50And I think all those things are so important.
01:52I think it's so important.
