00:10looking for something different for myself I love my drama and I'll always be doing my drama but
00:15there's other things that I do as well that I only have gotten really to do on stage so to come to
00:20hit the floor and get to be mad and happy and sad and funny and sexual and romantic and just play
00:27the full spectrum of being a woman I couldn't pass it up I it's just funny that art imitates life I
00:33decided to try Laker girls I was in college and I just wanted to have you know an experience it was
00:38fun have a little side job I was like working retail I'm like might as well you know it'll be
00:43cool little side job and I ended up deciding to leave because I wanted to pursue acting that's
00:49what I've always wanted to do and a year later ironically here's this role and it's like that's
00:54me I need to tell this girl's story I've danced my whole life I was a Laker girl for a small amount
00:59of time like you know there's a combo it was perfect and so it was like wow like thanks God
01:05is it literally a gift that just fell in my lap there's a lot of stereotypes associated with with
01:11that industry and we definitely explore all of that on our show I think one of our differences is is
01:17our dancers are truly trained dancers like we have some of the best dancers in the country
01:24and this is what they've lived their whole lives to do a job like this and so you're seeing
01:32extraordinary dancing probably not what you will actually see at a professional basketball game
01:37it's just on a whole nother level so yeah it was it's you know dance I'm familiar with and have some
01:42background in and feel very comfortable in obviously I haven't trained as much as Taylor has but it was
01:48um it was fun bringing it back into my life I went and took my first class that I hadn't taken in like
01:5620 years and that was a special moment for me but she can move don't let her fool you being all humble
