00:14I'm Nicole Melton, your beauty editor, and I'm here with Celia Smith, our fabulous fashion editor.
00:20And we're getting ready to go and see the designers at Harlem's Fashion Row.
00:30So Spring 2013, I just kind of wanted to honor my dad. He was a motorcycle mechanic.
00:36He would wear these overalls with these clean white shirts.
00:40And I just kind of wanted to take him from being different guys and stuff like that.
00:47I have amazing, fabulous, glorious women in mind for Spring 2013.
00:54So every dress that I have is like fit for a queen and any woman who wants to feel like a queen.
01:01Very pretty, girly, tons of texture and volume.
01:04And I'm excited about it because it's a great accessory to her line without being overbearing.
01:09Harlem's Fashion Row was a great mix of black designers.
01:12We had sportswear, evening wear, red carpet wear, you name it, they had it.
01:16The trends were military-inspired pieces, sheer fabrics, ruffles, lace.
01:22It was just beautiful, a beautiful mix overall.
01:25And Honorary Designer Kevin Hall debuted his Spring 2013 collection throughout.
01:29It was exciting and really happy colors, cerise and chartreuse and marigold yellow
01:35and all these wonderful, wonderful colors that are appropriate for the season.
01:39I loved the hair.
01:45Every style was unique.
01:47It had its own pizzazz.
01:49My favorite was the braids going back into the bun.
01:53Ugh, amazing.
01:54In terms of the makeup, it was all about the eyes.
01:57Big fake lashes, feathers on the eyes, color, nude lips.
