00:34Hello everyone, so welcome back to Essence.com's Front Row Backstage.
00:36We just got back from the Naeem Khan show.
00:38Such beautiful pieces and amazing hair and makeup.
00:42The hair, deep side part, slicked back, I mean it's what we've been seeing all season.
00:46The makeup was so gorgeous, kind of like a lush and luxurious coral tangerine lip.
00:53Really, really glossy and kind of 80s makeup, very dark, grays, dark like burnt oranges.
00:58It was just kind of a really intense dynasty look.
01:01But I loved it because I love that period.
01:03Yes, intense dynasty.
01:04Yeah.
01:05And yes for luxurious because that's really what he served on the runway.
01:08Absolutely.
01:09Gown after gown after gown looked like a delectable pastry.
01:12They were just delicious and sweet and frosty.
01:15I mean in my head I'm thinking of this gorgeous one which had like a huge pink fuchsia skirt
01:20that just sort of billowed out onto the runway.
01:23It was amazing to see these girls walk.
01:25And what I was telling Tia at the show was, it's interesting because there's no connection.
01:29Like you couldn't see a clear theme.
01:31One dress didn't necessarily have something to do with the other, which is what most designers like to do.
01:35But they stood alone so strongly that he didn't need to give us a theme to string it along.
01:41You still wanted to see what else is coming down the runway.
01:44It was beautiful and easily one of my favorite shows of the season.
01:48Yeah, it was totally delicious.
01:50I would wear every single thing.
01:51I have nowhere to wear those gowns.
01:52But if I did, I would wear them.
01:54Listen, there's always the bodega.
01:55There's always Kmart.
01:56Listen.
01:57You better serve style.
01:59Yeah, wherever you go.
