00:00Moving into Grown-ish I feel like Yara and Zoe have many more similarities than they had in
00:15Black-ish just because you see her more unsure of herself and more awkward not to say that those are
00:21Yara's soul traits and now I'm talking about myself in the third person but I mean there are
00:26those moments in which I was able to relate to her more on a personal level because she isn't the
00:32confident super fabulous person all the time and then of course there's certain things that Zoe does
00:37that Yara has never considered doing and so there are certain moments in which Zoe does a lot of
00:42growing up for me and a lot of experimentation for me which means that by the time I go to college
00:48all the experimenting is done like I've already done it on set and they've called cut what's really
00:54cool I mean not only did I know basically half of the cast moving into Grown-ish we all became
00:59fast friends we literally started a group chat maybe the day of our first table read and it just
01:04hasn't ended yet we've been done shooting for two months now we just truly enjoy each other's company
01:09oh okay guest stars um I think Chancellor Rapper would be an awesome TA I feel like it'd be fun
01:17to have like you realize that they go to the same school that Viola teaches at it like Zoe goes into
01:25the wrong class and runs into the how to get away with murder cast closes the door and finds her way
01:30to professor Telphy easy register to vote it's actually an ongoing joke and my friend said if I
01:40ever had a fake ID it'd be to go vote and so I now actually get to do what I've been talking about
01:48for so long Trevor actually said that his birthday present to me would be paying for my tattoo which
01:52is kind of scary because now it means that I've committed to getting a tattoo it's gonna say so it
01:57goes it's a Vonnegut reference but I've been thinking about it for years and so I'm really excited
02:03it's evolved through the years I mean I remember really my first moment in which I
02:10realized I like fashion was because I had a high top collection at a young age but all these like
02:14limited edition Nikes all of that and then my feet got bigger my brother grew into my Nikes and I don't
02:22think he had the same reverence for shoes that I did and so he actually played basketball in them
02:29and so all of these shoes would come back with holes in them so that put a temporary damper on my shoe
02:35obsession I decided to go barefoot for a moment in my life but then I was really really
02:40into like tuxes and blazers and a proper trouser a button-up shirt I was really preppy Oxford's
02:46favorite shoe and then now I still appreciate all of that but now we're having even more fun in
02:52expanding what we like it's been just a lot of exploring
