00:00As the week progresses and we get more and more info,
00:03I do want to know about Travion Henderson.
00:06But, Kev, I do want to know, was he hurt?
00:09Why did he only get three carries?
00:11Because, again, he was an intricate part of that offense.
00:15He is the home run hitter.
00:16He's had five runs with over 50 yards or more.
00:19And we talk about success and styles of backs
00:22that could potentially exploit Seattle's defense.
00:26And he's that type of player.
00:28If you're telling me right now the four and a half is cooked in
00:31with just Ramondre Stevenson getting 22 to 25 carries,
00:36I'll take Seattle.
00:37Because that is not going to work against this front seven.
00:41If you tell me that Travion Henderson is healthy
00:43and he's a big part or a plan of this game,
00:48then, obviously, I change my assessment
00:51because I think he needs to be utilized much more
00:53than he was against Denver.
00:55So, and we'll talk a bit about, you know, Travion or Ramondre,
01:00but I'm fine to talk about it now.
01:04Here's the problem with the Travion Henderson stuff, Joe.
01:07Go ahead.
01:08Ramondre Stevenson has been significantly better than him
01:11for over a month.
01:13Okay.
01:14And that wasn't supposed to be true, right?
01:19The, and what I mean is, would a guy like Travion eventually during a season,
01:25they will just kind of gradually take over a backfield
01:27because they are the better, more talented player.
01:30And Ramondre got injured and it cleared the way for Travion
01:33to take over the backfield.
01:34And that is, again, that is exactly what happened.
01:37And Ramondre in returning was not getting anywhere near the same workload
01:43as Henderson, but was over, like, jarringly efficient in that workload, right?
01:50But again, it is what it is.
01:52But for some reason, Travion Henderson can't get going.
01:58If you look in the postseason, Joe, 24 carries for 57 yards.
02:05They, it's not that they haven't tried.
02:08This is not a coaching staff, in my opinion, who is being stubborn
02:12of leaning on a veteran who doesn't deserve the work, right?
02:17They have found, it's, like, it took, last year,
02:22first example that comes to mind, it took Tampa maybe a little bit too long
02:25to go to Bucky Irving versus Rashad White, right?
02:28Because we saw how explosive Bucky was.
02:30What about Detroit?
02:32Yeah.
02:33God, you love that one.
02:34You love that comparison.
02:35The gimmick, right?
02:36I was like, yeah, Montgomery starts every game.
02:38It's like, okay, but Gibbs is the only guy who can do anything.
02:40And this year, they started to abandon that.
02:42Okay.
02:42This isn't that.
02:44I understand that.
02:45So, in my, I believe that eventually, I'm talking over the next four years,
02:52we will be very confident in who Travion Henderson, the player, is.
02:57All right.
02:57And I agree to that.
02:59I agree.
02:59But let me go, and you like numbers.
03:02So, December 14th against the Bills, the game where they jumped up 21-0, remember?
03:09Yeah, absolutely.
03:1014 carries, 140 yards, two touchdowns, and 10.6 yards per carry.
03:16Yep.
03:16The following week, he gets the concussion against the Ravens.
03:19So, you can't count that.
03:21Five for three.
03:22Sure.
03:22He comes back in back-to-back games, Kev, 32 carries, 19 and 13.
03:27It wasn't until the playoff started that we decided he's a non-factor.
03:34So, you tell me.
03:35He's gotten 30.
03:36He got 32 carries, 19 against the Jets for 82 yards, and then 13 against the Dolphins for 53 yards.
03:44Oh, by the way, he scores twice.
03:46Yeah.
03:46But then now, in three straight games, he's only gotten 24.
03:51So, you tell me.
03:52I think I will.
03:54All of a sudden, at the end, he didn't get carries.
03:57He was getting carries until the playoff started.
04:00No, so I think.
04:01So, but he was getting carries even.
04:04The first game, Joe, he only had one fewer carry than Ramondre Stevenson.
04:07Okay.
04:08So, what changed the philosophy?
04:09I think I can give you that answer.
04:11Go ahead.
04:12Ramondre Stevenson.
04:13I'm going to include the playoffs, which drags the numbers down a little bit.
04:17He's averaging six yards a rush and over 10 yards a reception.
04:24I understand the numbers are there.
04:26Steven.
04:27But so, this is what I'm saying.
04:28It's not just that Trevion doesn't look that good.
04:31Right.
04:32It's that Ramondre Stevenson has looked like one of the best running backs in football for a month.
04:36I get it.
04:37But we also see.
04:39I get it.
04:40But he's still averaging.
04:41If you break down Trevion Henderson, in the regular season, he averaged 5.1 yards per carry.
04:46So, it's not like we're talking about, oh, Stevenson's averaging 6 yards per carry, and Henderson's averaging 2.7.
04:54They were both a part of the offense, and now all of a sudden, since the playoff started, he's a non-factor.
05:01So, my theory is, okay, I believe something is obviously wrong that they're not telling us.
05:08Or, you can't tell me that he's not a part of even third downs.
05:12So, it's so, it doesn't make sense.
05:17Correct.
05:18But, what I mean is, in the receiving game is where you would think, okay.
05:22Right, yeah.
05:23Ramondre Stevenson has been the best receiving back in football.
05:25I know.
05:25I don't think.
05:26It's crazy.
05:26Joe, Joe.
05:28It's crazy.
05:29I agree with you.
05:30It mostly doesn't make sense.
05:32It's what's been going on.
05:33I'm going to tell you this right now.
05:34I'm very confident about this.
05:37Ramondre Stevenson, whatever his number is, he's not getting there in the Super Bowl.
