00:00Hulu's Wu-Tang Clan drama series has set its cast.
00:06The actors who have been tapped to star in the 10-episode scripted drama are
00:10Ashton Sanders of Moonlight, who will play Bobby, a.k.a. the RZA.
00:14Shamik Moore of The Get Down and Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, who will play Sharader,
00:18a gunner for drug dealer Power Grant.
00:20Sadiq Saunderson of Messiah, who will portray Dennis D. Love Coles, a.k.a. Ghostface Killah.
00:25Marcus Callender of Power, who will take on the part of Power Grant, the top dog of Park Hill.
00:30Zoli Griggs of Ballers, who will play Shuri, who's in a secret relationship with Dennis.
00:34And Erika Alexander of Get Out rounds out the cast as Linda, an overworked mother of four
00:39who has been through hell and back.
00:41Picked up in October, Wu-Tang, An American Saga, is based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan.
00:46Set in New York in the 1990s, much like the group's music video Cream, the series will follow the clan's
00:51formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs, a.k.a. RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young black men who are
00:57torn between music and crime, but who eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories.
01:07Wu-Tang Clan members Ghostface Killah, Inspector Deck, Master Killah and JZA, as well as the estate of ODB,
01:13will serve as consulting producers. The series is co-created by RZA and writer Alex C. of Superfly.
01:19RZA and Method Man are among the show's executive producers.
