00:00So you are never just wearing a dress at the Grammys, you're always making a statement.
00:04So what are you saying with this outfit today?
00:06Well, I exited Scientology very publicly after 15 years.
00:11And this outfit says Scientology kills, which is the truth.
00:15And all of these right here are the names of people, over 200 people,
00:19that have been trafficked as children or abused or died in Scientology.
00:23So that's the names inside my jacket.
00:26And the back says Jesus heals.
00:30So I came out of Scientology, found Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
00:37I've never been happier.
00:39I'm hitting back against that abusive cult, having been on the inside for 15 years.
00:43And that's why I use my platform.
00:47Now, previous years, you've made a pro-Trump or pro-MAGA statement at the Grammys.
00:52Why make a different statement this year?
00:54Well, it's not that I'm not MAGA or pro-Trump.
00:56It's just because I left this year, well, last year, two years ago, it took me two years to leave.
01:02And it's very hard to leave Scientology.
01:04I wanted people to know they can leave abusive situations, narcissistic situations, whether that's a cult, whether that's a relationship.
01:11It's an important topic for me because it was quite abusive.
01:15They took $2 million from me.
01:17I regret having given them my time and my money.
01:22And they victimize a lot of people, including children.
01:26So it's important for me to speak up.
01:28I mean, I love Trump.
01:29I love America.
01:30This is awesome.
01:31That doesn't go away.
01:32But right now, this is a pressing situation.
01:34They need their IRS tax exemption status taken away because they are, in fact, not a religious organization.
01:39They are a dangerous cult.
01:41Nicki Minaj has come out as a Trump supporter.
01:46What's your take on that?
01:47I love Nicki.
01:48I've always loved Nicki.
01:49Those on the inside knew Nicki was secretly conservative.
01:52So when she came out, it was like, the Barb's already new.
01:55I love Nicki Minaj.
01:57She's the queen for a reason.
01:58Do you think other people in the music industry might follow suit?
02:01I hope they do.
02:03I was hoping that there'd be somebody else.
02:04I mean, when they see black or brown or ethnic faces, I'm a black Latina woman, speaking out for Trump.
02:10Or, you know, America in general and not being the typical Democrat, it ruffles feathers.
02:17So she lost a lot of followers, but she gained a lot more.
02:20I'm hoping other people see that and think, okay, you don't have to think like the regular person.
02:24You don't have to be black and vote Democrat, Latina and vote Democrat.
02:28You can actually think for yourself.
02:29I stepped away nine years ago.
02:31I walked away very publicly.
02:32Nicki Minaj has walked away.
02:34And it's fabulous.
02:35I mean, he got voted in for a reason.
02:37There are people who support Trump who are not all white people.
02:40And it's time America recognized that.
02:42Hollywood needs to recognize that.
02:45There are a lot of people here tonight wearing ICE outpins.
02:47As a Trump supporter, what's your take on what's going on in Minnesota?
02:51It's regrettable that those two people were murdered, right, by ICE agents.
02:57Nobody should die.
02:59You know, my friend Charlie Kirk was murdered last year.
03:03I knew him personally.
03:04I don't want any violence in politics.
03:06Also knowing, though, you are dealing with officers who have guns, who are in a situation
03:12where if they're threatened, you're putting yourself in harm's way.
03:15I don't know why anybody would want to do that.
03:17I do understand that there's a lot of deportations.
03:20But under Obama and under Clinton, there were way more deportations than under Trump.
03:25I personally, as a Latina, do not want criminals to stay in the country.
03:34I personally, as a Latina, do not want criminals to stay in the country.
