00:05In this video, I'll show you a simple trick to unlock a pretty
00:10protected Excel sheet without needing the password.

00:24First, make sure to open it to the end.
00:25Make sure the Excel file is completely closed.
00:28Go ahead and locate the file on your computer.
00:30We're going to change the file extension, so if you don't see .xlsx
00:35at the end of the file name, you'll need to enable file name extensions from the view menu at the top.
00:40If you're not sure how to do that, I've left another video explaining it in the pinned comment.
00:45Once you can see the extension, right-click the file and rename it.
00:50Remove .xlsx and change it to .zip.
