MASSIVE VOLCANIC ERUPTION CREATES A TORNADO OF ASH
WITH VID
By Saloni Mathur
Watch this spectacular video of Kīlauea's 41st episode of volcanic eruption with a tornado of ash rising right next to it.
Cale Anderson, a DJ from Vancouver, USA, was visiting Hawaii when he captured this shocking footage.
The 41st episode of Kīlauea is known to be the biggest eruption on record.
The tornado spinning just behind the volcano shocked Cale, he said: “I had never seen such a sight before. A volcanic tornado, a volnado.”.
The spectacle of lava rose over a thousand feet, and lasted for hours before coming to an end by nightfall.
Cale explained that there was heavy ashfall in nearby areas, which led to authorities closing down parks ad streets and evacuating people and tourists from the area.
One follower commented: “Island building in action…love it”
Another wrote: “Who could look at this and not see magic?”
