Volcan de Fuego in southern Guatemala kicked off Halloween with a fiery spectacle — erupting with powerful explosions and bursts of lava that lit up the early morning sky. :volcano::fire:

Captured in stunning time-lapse footage, the volcano unleashed up to 15 eruptions per hour, hurling ash clouds as high as 15,700 feet and ejecting glowing fragments over 1,000 feet into the air. Residents nearby were warned of ashfall and shockwaves as the Volcano of Fire lived up to its name in the most dramatic way possible.
