Watch as a tense beachside moment unfolded after a woman was seen handling a penguin despite apparently being repeatedly warned not to.
The video, filmed by Javiera Ignacia at Lenga Cove in Chile shows a woman holding the penguin while others nearby warn her that she should not touch the animal.
After she supposedly ignored the advice, the woman continues to handle the penguin as it appears distressed.
Concerned by the situation, Javiera steps in to record and confront the behaviour, calling out the woman and urging her to release the animal.
After continued pressure, the penguin is finally let go.
The clip was shared online. One user commented: “Thank you, people need to stop treating wildlife like props.”
