00:00Winter storm Fern made a big old mess of things across the country over the weekend, and she's not finished with us yet.
00:07Fern is estimated to have impacted 235 million Americans across a whopping 40 states.
00:13And in some areas, the winter weather is expected to continue through most of the day today.
00:18The wild weather is being blamed for at least a dozen deaths.
00:22Five here in New York City, where extreme cold may have played a role, to several other deaths across the country as a result of icy car crashes.
00:30And other weather-related incidents.
00:32Now, as of Sunday, Fern had forced the cancellation of more than 16,000 flights.
00:37And that number? Probably going up.
00:39More than a million people have been left without power as well.
