00:0050 main of this 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship season kicking it off with Monster
00:07Energy AMA Supercross here at A1. Lee Diffie, Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart with you. Let's
00:13get you up to speed with the highlights of the heats to set up this main event clash and the
00:19champ Hayden Deegan. Beautiful star that took off. Yeah, Hayden got out there. We knew he was one of
00:25favorites coming in, if not the favorite, but got that whole shot pretty much checked out from that
00:30point. It was an easy win for Hayden Deegan to start off in 2026. 10 plus seconds was the victory to
00:36James Point. RC, how about beat two? What got your eyes here? It has to be the 61 of Max Anstey just
00:44comes out, gets a fantastic start, battles with Hunter Yoder for a few laps, is able to make the
00:49move and kind of checks out. And outside of that, Levi Kitchen, going to be interesting to see if
00:56Kitchen is able to bring that intensity. He was the fastest man in qualifying practice. Expect him
01:01to run up front and be in the battle for the race win as well. But just an incredible run for this man
01:10right here. And man, he looked good last year and he started off this season in the right spot.
01:19So the bikes are circulating as we get closer and closer to this 250 main. So there you see it.
01:34Levi Kitchen set the pace in qualifying and the highlights we just showed you of Deegan and Anstey,
01:38the teammates winning and their teammate, Michael Moseman, winning the last chance qualifier.
01:43So Deegan is always a topic of conversation. But why did Hayden stay in the 250 class?
01:53Yeah, I got unfinished business in the 250 class. So I just wanted to get this Supercross,
01:57you know, defend the championship. I feel like that's kind of something you, I mean,
02:01if you have the chance to do it, you got to do it. And I feel like 450 outdoors is kind of where
02:05I'm going to excel a little better. So just wait till a place I'm a little more comfortable
02:09to make the switch. But yeah, just this, this championship, I got a little bit of unfinished
02:14business that I have to, you know, clean up before I leave.
02:17Yeah, I mean, when he talks about unfinished business for me, I think where he really needs
02:22to improve is, again, he needs to come out and try to win this season opener. And he's got to be
02:26better in the starts and run up front early. Outside of that and defending the championship,
02:31I don't see where he could improve much more other than just being and getting more experience.
02:36And he's expected to win and he needs to do it.
02:41So here we go. We'll see how the season starts when it really counts in the main event.
02:47And we are so close to the first main. We're so close to the Winter Olympics.
02:52And as the run-up to the Games continues, Olympic gold medalist Red Gerard, Alex Hall,
02:57and David Wise head to Aspen for the Toyota U.S. Ski and Snowboard Grand Prix.
03:01That's Sunday, 4 Eastern, right here on NBC and on Peacock. Can't wait for the Winter Games.
03:09I can't wait either.
03:10How about this guy, Tony Corolli, MXGP legend, and he got to be part of the torch relay.
03:18That is one of the biggest honours in all of sports.
03:21I was going to say, man, that's a heck of an honour. What an experience.
03:25Well done, Tony.
03:28Yes.
03:29All right. Super close to the gate drop. Let's go around the berm.
03:33Let's start with you, Mr. James Stewart.
03:35Well, Hayden Deegan, you're the defending champion.
03:38Everybody expects you to come in here and win this title.
03:41But you understand, you've got your hands full.
03:43There's a lot of good guys in this class.
03:45Six more wins would put you second all the time, actually.
03:48Tie you second right behind me. I'd like to keep that on you.
03:51But overall, Hayden Deegan, looking good so far.
03:54You've got to get it done today, and I think you will.
03:57I think Max Anstey, we just talked about him when we were showing you guys the replays of the heat races.
04:03I love that he is a veteran of this.
04:05Now, you just have to think that he wants to put it to his teammate.
04:09Tired to listen to everybody talk about how good his teammate is, but he knows his teammate is good.
04:14And I think this guy has a great chance to get it done here tonight.
04:17But Levi Kitchen, you're expected to win in this class, full stop.
04:22Last year, you didn't make it out of practice, but you had to move to the East Coast.
04:25But this is your shot.
04:26Hayden Deegan has said everything that you'd ever want to hear for motivation to go out and win this race.
04:32But you have to execute, and it's going to be right here on this start.
04:35Get out front, and the rest of the race will be a lot easier.
04:37The 29 of Chance Hymes, he just got third in his heat, and he's doing everything that the Honda HRC team are asking him to do.
04:47And that's put yourself in the mix, but get through the night safely.
04:50It's only round one was the message, and then there's plenty of time.
04:54And how about this guy?
04:56On a triple-digit number now, Cameron McAdoo is back.
05:01He only did three races last year, three Supercross races, no outdoor, no SMX playoffs.
05:08It's been a long time, but he is back, and he showed that he hasn't lost any of his special form in the heat races.
05:15The 28-year-old is ready to go, and so are we.
05:18It's the 250 West, Maine, here at A1.
05:22Drop the gate.
05:25Kitchen, good start.
05:26He's tucked on the inside, right at DeFrancisco, and Chance Hymes, a handlebar to handlebar.
05:34Ah, perfect opportunity for these guys right here.
05:38Talked about the start, Hayden Dean is back.
05:40Oh, no.
05:41Kitchen.
05:42Kitchen down in the first corner.
05:45That's going to be tough.
05:46I was watching him.
05:47He actually had it good.
05:48He just lost the front end on that off-camera the way it was.
05:51He lost it, and that is not the way you want to start for Levi Kitchen, for sure.
05:55Well, we talked about it with Ryder DeFrancisco, how he is filled out.
05:59He is a full-grown man right now, and could this be his breakout year?
06:05This was a very successful amateur racer, very young age, went through some ups and downs,
06:11and now he is here making it happen.
06:14I love to see it.
06:15Great start.
06:16Great opening lap.
06:17McAdoo and Hymes, they're fighting over second at the moment.
06:20I think the biggest goal for Ryder DeFrancisco right now is just maintain calm.
06:26Do not get caught in the hype.
06:28Don't get overly excited.
06:31Control those emotions right now.
06:33And where is Hayden Deegan?
06:34He is very back in the pack.
06:37Last time I saw him, he was 14th.
06:39This is very reminiscent of a year ago when he went down on the opening lap and was last
06:44and worked his way all the way back to fifth.
06:47So keep your eyes on Deegan.
06:48He's up to 12th.
06:49There's Max Anstey, his teammate, closing in on Cameron McAdoo.
06:53Inside of McAdoo.
06:55McAdoo made a mistake in that rhythm section, allowed Chance to get by,
06:58and also allowed his teammate, Hayden Deegan's teammates, Max Anstey, to get around.
07:03So critical mistake.
07:04You can see how aggressive these guys are trying to be in the beginning.
07:07As you can see, Ryder DeArc has two and a half seconds out.
07:10Heads up riding for McAdoo, too.
07:12Not to close the door too much on that triple.
07:15Anticipated Max Anstey being there.
07:17Anstey has a good run going through that rhythm section right now.
07:21Anstey was really fast all year long in the woods.
07:23So early on in the Eastern Division last year, he had a huge advantage there.
07:29There's Deegan up to 11th.
07:30Starting to close in on Ross and Varese.
07:35Goes around the outside, gets a twofer in the one deal.
07:38Oh, that was good.
07:39He squeezed his way in there.
07:42It's like Ross was worried about trying to catch the other guy, RC.
07:45Yeah, that was a huge pass to get by those guys.
07:48And why do I say that?
07:49Because now, look, he has a little bit of a gap right here where he can gain some time
07:53and make up some time.
07:55So the front runners, had he gotten hung up behind those two guys,
07:59it would have really slowed down his progression.
08:02Yeah, but he would have been stuck behind him all the way through here.
08:04And you can see these guys are losing a lot of time.
08:06I mean, losing traction coming out of his corner.
08:08So you can only be so aggressive.
08:11Now Hayden keep pushing forward.
08:12He's got last year as a template if you want to work from.
08:16He didn't win until the third race last year, which was A2.
08:19Here at A1, as I mentioned earlier, he was last and worked his way up to fifth.
08:23So he knows that if he doesn't win A1, which was one of the big bucket list items,
08:28it's not going to deter him from going on and defending his title.
08:32Here's Levi Kitchen working his way back through the field.
08:35And here's what happened.
08:36Oh, he gets the front end a little bit high right there,
08:38and everything just kind of narrows up.
08:41But like James said, he started to lose the front end.
08:44You can see it's kind of an off-cambered uphill,
08:46and that dirt is very loose, very gravelly as well.
08:50Not a lot of grip there.
08:51And down he goes.
08:53Yeah, we talked about Hayden Deegan having to be patient.
08:56Levi's got to do the same thing, and I know it's hard for him
08:58as he almost goes off the racetrack.
09:00He's been so fast, looks so good all day long.
09:03One mistake in that first corner.
09:05He's got some yellow flags out.
09:08And that's the thing.
09:09Like, you know, there's just so much talking coming in to the series.
09:13Who's going to win?
09:14Who's going to do what?
09:15But then it's silly things like that happening or, you know,
09:19unfortunate circumstances.
09:21Oh, what a pass by Max Ancy.
09:23Comes through that sand section.
09:24Firing.
09:25Oh!
09:26Yeah, actually, Max made the pass prior to that,
09:30but I don't think Chance liked the way he kind of shed him down.
09:33Chance had a good run through that sand.
09:35Max understood that, closed that door.
09:37I believe that's why Chance ran it in so hard.
09:40None of the riders in this field have ever won A1.
09:44So we're going to get a fresh winner again,
09:47because no Joe Shimoda to defend his win of a year ago.
09:50That's a good run for Cameron McAdoo.
09:52We know he's capable of these kind of rides,
09:53but the reason that I say that, I mean,
09:55he took a lot of time off last year.
09:58Oh, yeah.
09:58A lot.
09:59And to see him up here battling, that's great.
10:04Yeah, really good.
10:05I mean, he's always had his feet.
10:07When he got back on the bike, he was really fast.
10:09I mean, both these guys have been injured.
10:11That was really close.
10:12Yeah.
10:13And he got Michael Moseman in that fifth spot,
10:15just came off the track a little bit ago,
10:17so he's probably feeling pretty comfortable.
10:20How long would you expect,
10:22given, you know, practice track is one thing,
10:24racing is another,
10:25all of the riders say that themselves,
10:28how long would you expect for McAdoo
10:30to get back into race rhythm and, you know,
10:32kind of for it to come back to him?
10:34He's had a great heat.
10:35He's riding beautifully now,
10:36but for it to feel normal,
10:38after he had such an exaggerated period,
10:41away.
10:41I just, well,
10:42because he's been in the game for quite some time,
10:45and he's been in these situations before Lee,
10:48I figure it wouldn't take him very long,
10:50especially you got the heat race
10:52to kind of get into the back race of mentality.
10:54Ryder DeFrancisco has company.
10:56Here comes Max Anstey.
10:57Cuts down low.
11:00Yeah, he's speaking of being comfortable
11:02and finding that race rhythm.
11:03Max Anstey's caught that.
11:04It looks like he's going to try to get up the inside.
11:07Nice smoothies.
11:08That's cool.
11:08That's a rail to outside.
11:10Let's see if he go out.
11:11Yeah.
11:11Cut it down.
11:12He can go anywhere he wants.
11:13Look how he's cutting down early,
11:14like James was just talking about.
11:16He's able to go outside if he needs to.
11:18Look, it's going wide here.
11:19He's going to jump up top here,
11:20go over, make the move.
11:22No.
11:23Oh, oh, oh.
11:24Caught that one a little hard.
11:25That allows Ryder D to escape just a little bit.
11:28Max is quicker, so, like,
11:30although he probably wants to get by Ryder fairly quick,
11:34he doesn't have to make it so fast
11:36and put himself in danger or at risk of going down.
11:39Yeah, what he was trying to do is get that momentum
11:41because how he was able to get around a couple of guys already.
11:45If he can get on the inside of those guys,
11:47the way that corner pushes off that triple,
11:49he would have had the inside line,
11:50but made that mistake in that rhythm section,
11:53which allows Ryder D to get another gap.
11:55Here we go through the warps.
11:56Look at the difference in speed there.
11:57Ryder D Francisco has a little look behind
12:00from his rock star energy factory, Husqvarna.
12:03Yeah, he's got that in his back pocket.
12:06Bottom box is Hayden Deegan
12:07continuing to come through the field,
12:09and he has caught Max Volland and Hunter Yoder.
12:15The further that Deegan comes up,
12:19the harder it is going to make the pass,
12:21but, dude, Levi Kitchen has closed up
12:23all the way to the back of Hayden.
12:25Oh, no, sorry.
12:26That's Cameron McAdoo.
12:27They look...
12:28No, I was with you.
12:29I kept looking,
12:30but McAdoo must have went down
12:32as Max makes that pass.
12:34Oh, oh, oh!
12:35Oh, no!
12:36Heavy crash for Cameron McAdoo.
12:39I saw that coming.
12:40That's what I was like reacting the way that I did.
12:44Top box, Max Anstey, guys, has gone to the lead.
12:47And Hymas is now closing in on right of D.
12:51Man, that's scary as a rider where Cameron was.
12:53When you know the guy's coming over,
12:55there's nothing you can do about him.
12:56Not sure what happened with Hayden.
12:58Was he worried about the guy in front?
12:59I was looking at Max make the pass
13:01in that same position he tried making it the last lap.
13:04This would be absolutely mega
13:08for Max Anstey to come out here.
13:10But, again, I go back to how well he was riding
13:13last year on that East Coast.
13:15I mean, it's really not a surprise.
13:17He looks very similar to me now
13:19how he did then.
13:21Three different teams,
13:22three different manufacturers in the top three.
13:25It's Yamaha leading Husqvarna, leading Honda.
13:28We told you earlier in the heat
13:29about Chance Hymas moving away
13:31from training with the Lawrence Brothers
13:34in Florida, moving back closer to home,
13:37working with family, being with family,
13:39doing it his own way.
13:40And he said, you know,
13:41it's that time for me to step up,
13:43kind of almost to grow up and do it my way.
13:45And we'll see if it works.
13:46Well, so far, so good.
13:48We're over the halfway mark.
13:49Quick reminder to stock up
13:51on Monster Energy drinks at Stater Brothers.
13:53I mean, James, you've talked about it,
13:55like, as far as Hymas goes.
13:57In the Pro Motocross Championship,
13:58he was really only one of the guys
14:00to beat Hayden or run Hayden Deegan straight up
14:03other than Joe.
14:04So having the speed isn't the problem.
14:06It's just, you know, staying healthy.
14:08Yeah, and we saw Joe Shimoda say the same thing last year.
14:12Kind of broke off and wanted to do his own thing.
14:14And I think that these guys are searching for,
14:16especially maybe with Chance,
14:17is that's that belief in themselves.
14:19Because, like we talked about,
14:21he has the speed.
14:21He's won races.
14:22But it's just believing.
14:24And I think when you start making your own stuff
14:27and going your own way,
14:28put you in that position, Will.
14:30James, it's one thing saying
14:32that you need to be in that position, right?
14:34It's another thing actually feeling it
14:35and talking to Chance yesterday.
14:37You can tell the smiles there,
14:39the confidence is there.
14:40There's this kind of sense from him
14:42that he really believes he belongs.
14:43But he also has a very solid plan for this season.
14:46Build.
14:47The team want him to build.
14:48Don't worry about it.
14:48They said you don't have to
14:50blow everybody's doors off at A1.
14:52But they know what he's taking a lot.
14:54They want him to build into it.
14:55And most importantly,
14:56him and the team want him to finish this season healthy
14:59and get to those playoffs in September.
15:02It's funny you say that, Will,
15:03because he kind of had the same approach last year,
15:06if you remember.
15:07And really didn't think he was a title contender.
15:09They were going to ease their way into the championship.
15:13And then he went out and won.
15:15Where were we?
15:15Foxborough, wasn't it?
15:17And then he was back in it.
15:20Yeah.
15:20But I think the difference is,
15:23as he gets a nice run,
15:25but he's going to be on the outside.
15:26Let's see if Ryder deep pushes a little wide.
15:30Guys are trying to get on him.
15:31But Chance should have the pass right here.
15:33Nice work.
15:34Chance Hymas goes to second on the Honda HRC machine.
15:37No contest for Ryder.
15:39He knew that Chance had the pass made.
15:42So he just sets up, lets him go.
15:44That's a smart move.
15:47Yeah, but to finish my point on Chance,
15:48what I was saying earlier,
15:49you would think there's a lot of,
15:51he put a lot of pressure on himself by making this change.
15:54You know, if it doesn't work out,
15:55it's not going to look good,
15:57especially if things start happening,
15:58you get tired or whatnot.
16:00I believe Chance has a lot going for him
16:01as Levi Kitchen,
16:03we're watching him making his way up.
16:05Yeah, the rivalry that we were looking forward to,
16:07maybe for first and second between Deegan and Kitchen
16:09has not materialized.
16:11It's been the comeback story.
16:13Deegan has made his way up to fifth.
16:14Kitchen, now that move there was for seventh.
16:17Good comeback for Levi right here.
16:19And it's important,
16:21even though it's the first round
16:24of this 250 West division,
16:26and every point counts right here,
16:29especially as you get down the stretch
16:30for the championship.
16:32And this is a great comeback.
16:36Championships are one on your bad days.
16:39And to that point,
16:41I want to take the story back to Ryder DeFrancisco.
16:43He said last year,
16:44my bad days were really bad days,
16:46and I can't have that this year.
16:48I've got to dig myself out of a hole
16:50and make the most of it.
16:52Now is the time.
16:53Well, Ryder De is sitting
16:54in a podium position
16:57with less than three and a half minutes to go.
16:59Yeah, he's got some breathing room too, James.
17:01He's about second and a half or so.
17:04If he can maintain that gap
17:05or at least try to,
17:06pardon me, three seconds,
17:07at least try to hang with Hymas,
17:10he'll be sitting pretty to be on the box.
17:13Nice pass by Levi.
17:14Oh, yeah.
17:14You know, but that story goes
17:16for a lot of these guys.
17:17I mean, look,
17:18the good days are great.
17:20The bad days are horrible.
17:22And the guy that really can kind of be more,
17:24you know, steady,
17:25even through this whole thing
17:27is going to help that out.
17:28But it's like Deegan,
17:30he's closing in on his teammate.
17:31If he can somehow get to the top four,
17:33it'd be huge for him.
17:34And you never know.
17:36Ryder De is only a few seconds in front of him.
17:37And we know what happens
17:38when Hayden sees that.
17:39And this is when fitness
17:40starts to come into the playlist.
17:42And all of these riders
17:43are extremely physically fit,
17:45well-tuned athletes.
17:47But just a little bit
17:48makes a big difference here.
17:50Late in the race,
17:51the track is starting to go away,
17:52becoming much more difficult.
17:54You see that line right there
17:55Hayden took,
17:56staying out of the accelerating bumps
17:58and the ruts.
17:59And you can make up a lot of time
18:01late in the race.
18:03Looking for Michael Moseman,
18:04considering that he fell in the heat,
18:06had to go to the LCQ,
18:07won the LCQ, I think,
18:08to come away from A1 with a top five.
18:11That's a good start.
18:11That's a solid start
18:13to the championship.
18:14Hey, I'm going to tell you,
18:15if Deegan is able to get by
18:17Moseman relatively quick,
18:19an outside shot of the podium
18:20is not out of question.
18:22Two minutes to go,
18:23plus the lap.
18:25So teammate on teammate,
18:26he gets by.
18:27Well, if he can turn it loose
18:28right here.
18:30Yeah, that was a key pass for him,
18:32not to get stalled behind Michael.
18:33That's what I was mentioning.
18:34Ryder De is only a few seconds.
18:36Yeah.
18:36And it's hard for a Ryder
18:37to start picking up the pace
18:38when you see another guy coming.
18:40And the last person
18:41you want to see coming
18:42is that number one
18:43of Hayden Deegan
18:43because he'll make that time up.
18:45And I believe
18:46he'll get through this whoop section
18:47as he gets,
18:48once he's able to see Ryder D,
18:50that gap's going to close really fast.
18:52Yeah.
18:52And one thing, too,
18:53like when I was talking about Hayden
18:54and how he needed to get starts,
18:56and it's not just necessarily
18:58to win races,
18:59but it also,
19:00when you get good starts,
19:02you don't subject yourself
19:04to things that could just go wrong
19:06by happenstance,
19:07by being in mid-pack.
19:09Seems like things go awry back there,
19:11and that's what I mean
19:11about getting good starts
19:13is not only to win,
19:14but you don't surround yourself
19:16with things that could possibly go wrong.
19:18JT, let's talk more
19:19about the race leader, Max Anstey.
19:21Well, this is a heck of a start
19:22to a season for Max Anstey.
19:24And let's face it,
19:24he's the elder statesman
19:26of this 250 class.
19:27He's probably got a decade
19:28on half the field here.
19:29But that comes with an advantage,
19:31I think,
19:32and situationally,
19:33I think he's just seen this all before.
19:35And on that first lap,
19:36he looks around,
19:37he doesn't see Hayden,
19:38he doesn't see Kitchen.
19:39Those are two of the biggest rivals
19:41for this championship,
19:42and I think his way
19:43of attacking this race
19:45changes it a little bit.
19:46That experience provides him
19:47with the knowledge.
19:48He knows when to push.
19:50He knows when he can be patient.
19:51He knows when there's
19:52an imminent threat.
19:53And in this race,
19:53when you don't see Hayden,
19:55and you don't see Levi Kitchen
19:56anywhere near it,
19:57you can take your time a little bit.
19:58And this was a perfectly
19:59executed master class
20:01by the number 61.
20:03And JT,
20:04do you feel like
20:04there's a small element here
20:06to where he feels like,
20:08you know,
20:08he got robbed last year
20:10and there's unfinished business
20:11for how well he was doing
20:13in that Eastern division?
20:15Yeah, I do.
20:16And I think he feels like
20:18he could beat anybody
20:19in this class.
20:19And he knows better
20:20than to go start
20:21a war of words
20:22with a guy like Hayden Deegan.
20:23But I truly believe
20:24deep down,
20:25head to head,
20:26he has nothing to fear
20:27with Hayden
20:27on a supercross track.
20:28Well, if Ryder DeFrancisco
20:30is going to earn
20:32his first career podium,
20:33he's going to do it
20:34the hard way
20:34because here comes
20:36Hayden Deegan.
20:37This is eerily reminiscent
20:39of last year
20:40of what Hayden did
20:41of working his way
20:42back through the field.
20:43However,
20:44he's closer to a podium
20:45than what he was
20:4512 months ago.
20:47He came from last
20:48to fifth
20:48a year ago.
20:50Now he's got a shot
20:51at a podium.
20:52Third place is right there.
20:53It's like copy and paste,
20:55James.
20:55No, it is.
20:56But as Hayden
20:57made a couple of mistakes,
20:58he's got to be
20:59really patient
21:00because the hard part
21:01on his racetrack,
21:01he wants to get on the gas.
21:02He sees him,
21:03but now he's lost that time
21:04because of how slippery
21:05his racetrack is.
21:06So just back it up.
21:08He's got another lap.
21:09I think Hayden
21:09has to speed on him,
21:11but he's got to have
21:12some clean laps
21:13as he almost goes down
21:14right there
21:14and loses front end.
21:16Oh, whoa, whoa.
21:17I thought he was
21:18going to lose it right there.
21:19Got really far back.
21:20Weight got back
21:21on the bike
21:21on the whoops.
21:25As a rider,
21:27you go back
21:27and you watch the film.
21:29You're like,
21:30man, I was able
21:30to catch him
21:31and then when I got
21:32close to him,
21:32I started pushing
21:33and then it's just
21:34going to make you
21:35very upset at yourself
21:36because you already
21:36had the pace
21:37if you would have
21:38just kept doing
21:38what you were doing.
21:39But it's hard
21:39as a rider.
21:40You just want to get
21:41him right then
21:41and got another
21:43half a lap
21:44to kind of get it done.
21:44And go all the way
21:45back to 2018.
21:47Shane McElrath won
21:48and then
21:49Colt Nichols won.
21:51Justin Cooper,
21:52Christian Craig,
21:53Jet Lawrence,
21:54RJ Hampshire
21:55and then last year
21:56Joe Shimoda.
21:57We're going to have
21:57another new winner,
21:58guys.
21:59Another new winner
22:00here at A1
22:01in 250 West competition.
22:03Max Anstey,
22:04the 32-year-old Brit
22:05who had off-season races
22:07and stayed in good form,
22:10stayed in good health
22:11and feels it
22:12coming into the season
22:13as he goes through
22:15the whoops
22:16for the final time.
22:18That green leader
22:19light on
22:20and he has left
22:21the field behind
22:22by more than
22:23seven seconds.
22:25Max Anstey says,
22:26keep me in the
22:27championship hunt.
22:28Anstey wins A1.
22:31The fight for third.
22:33Chance Heimers
22:34grabs second.
22:35Well done.
22:36Ryder DeFrancisco
22:37gets his first podium.
22:39Deegan for fourth
22:41but it's Anstey's night.
22:46Well done, Max.
22:48Just an incredible ride.
22:50Again, no surprise
22:51for me, James.
22:52No, we talked about it
22:53off air.
22:54We did.
22:55Let's just tell the folks
22:55this is one of our favorites
22:57right here.
22:58Felt like he was going
22:58to do it because of his start
22:59so great ride by Max.
23:02He said,
23:02I miss so much time
23:04here in the U.S.
23:05by doing MXGP
23:07competition in Europe.
23:08Well, this is the high
23:09point of his time
23:11in the United States.
23:12Winning A1.
23:14What a treat.
23:15What an honor.
23:16What a performance
23:17from Max Anstey.
23:19I really feel too
23:20like he took it
23:21to another level
23:22and just his skill
23:23when he moved
23:26to that Monster Energy
23:27Star Racing Yamaha
23:28is different.
