00:09Police have just given us an update a little while ago and they said that members of the public have told them that there's been a potential sighting they possibly saw Julian Ingram around Mount Hope in the early hours of this morning.
00:21Now Mount Hope is a rural remote settlement. It sits roughly between Lake Cajelico and Cobar. It's very remote, it's vast and there are lots of very, very large properties on the area.
00:34So it's also an area that police say Mr Ingram frequently visited. We heard from Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland a little earlier.
00:42He's spoken about how police have now been sent to that area and they say they won't leave until it's declared safe.
00:50Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
00:53We now have a possible sighting of the offender in the Mount Hope District.
00:58Tactical police are in that location now carrying out searches of multiple properties in the area.
01:03Obviously with an armed offender in that area we are asking for members of the public to exercise extreme caution.
01:09And Rhiannon, have police given us any more details on his potential movements?
01:14So we know Mr Ingram was last seen leaving Lake Cajelico on Thursday in a white Ford Ranger.
01:23That was a council ute and police had initially thought that he may have dumped that vehicle and switched cars and been driving around and something else.
01:32But they now say they have dash cam footage and CCTV which confirms that that was the car he was using and it shows him in it.
01:40So they're again reminding the public to look out for that white Ford Ranger ute around the area.
01:45Now they also say that at this stage it's believed that Mr Ingram is working alone.
01:50Now they were wondering whether or they're exploring the possibility of whether he is being potentially assisted by people to evade police.
01:58Over the last little while they've been speaking with Mr Ingram's associates and his friends but they say that they're not aware at any stage that he has been contacting them.
02:07But they are still not ruling out that possibility that someone might be helping him evade arrest.
02:13Rhiannon, the small community around Lake Cajelico has obviously been rocked by this shooting.
02:19How are they doing?
02:20So as we know this incident is being treated as an alleged act of domestic violence.
02:28One of the victims, Sophie Quinn, was a former partner of Julian Ingram.
02:33She was one of the people who was killed along with her aunt Nerida Quinn and a 32-year-old friend of Sophie's.
02:39Police have said that they are providing support to the families of those involved.
02:44They also say that they're not aware of any other threats that have been made to those families in the wake of that shooting and since Mr Ingram went missing.
02:52Now there's also been a slight update on the condition of the 19-year-old man, Caleb McQueen.
02:57He was also injured in the shooting but not killed.
03:00He was taken to hospital and police say he remains there in a stable condition.
03:03He was taken to hospital and he was taken to hospital and his son and his son and I was taken to hospital.
