00:00Around 100 officers have been deployed to Lake Cajelico to search for Julian Ingram in the wake of that shooting that happened on Thursday.
00:09But what detectives have said is that it might be very difficult to find him because he has quite an extensive knowledge of the local area.
00:17Now what we know about Julian Ingram, he's 37 years old, he's also known as Julian Pierpoint.
00:22He's a council worker in the town, he works as a gardener and he was last seen leaving the town in a white Ford Ranger ute.
00:29It had council signage of it on it, it had a silver tray, it had some emergency lighting on it.
00:36And what we also know is that he had been on bail currently for several alleged domestic violence offences and it was due to face court on those alleged offences next month.
00:46Police have been saying that he had been complying with his bail conditions up until he went missing and of course he does remain on the run and that major search is continuing into its second morning.
00:56We all, well those are the details about Julian Ingram but what about the victims, what do we know about them?
01:05So just to recap, police were called to a street at Lake Cajelico on Thursday afternoon around 4.30pm.
01:14When they got there they'd been called to reports of gunshots.
01:17When they arrived they found two people who'd been shot dead in a car.
01:22One of them was 25-year-old Sophie Quinn.
01:25It's understood that she'd been around seven months pregnant at the time of her death.
01:29The other person in the car was a 32-year-old man who we understand was a friend of Sophie's.
01:34Now about a three-minute drive away from that crime scene, two other people were shot in a driveway.
01:40One of them was Sophie's aunt, 50-year-old Nerida Quinn and the second was a 19-year-old man, Caleb McQueen.
01:48Now Caleb was the sole survivor of this incident.
01:50He's been taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
01:54The families of both Sophie and Nerida have released statements about them in the wake of their deaths.
02:00They say that Sophie loved her family, she loved her nephews, she loved the outdoors and fishing and she was everyone's favourite bartender.
02:08They also say Nerida was always looking out for everyone else's kids.
02:12She loved her family and was very selfless.
02:15Rihanna, no doubt a really sad loss there for the community.
02:18But the community must be quite scared as well given that this gunman is still on the run.
02:23What's the advice to residents there?
02:27So yeah, there are about 1,500 residents in the town of Lake Cajelico.
02:32It's a very small and remote town.
02:34In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the town was effectively almost locked down.
02:40Some shops were shut and a number of events had been cancelled.
02:43It's understood that today things will start to open up but the members of the community are still being told to stay indoors for their own safety while that manhunt is carried out.
02:52Now they can leave for essential services and doing things that they need to do but police are just telling them to stay vigilant and if they see anything or if they spot Julian Ingram to call 000 immediately.
03:03All right, that's our reporter Rihanna and Solomon Maron there with the latest on that manhunt.
