00:00Will this be the most quietest trade deadline for the Sixers in recent years?
00:07They have a core, and they also have young guys that I feel like they,
00:11for the first time in a while, aren't willing to ship for other aging players.
00:15I do think that they're going to make a move, right?
00:17But I hope that it's a quiet move.
00:20Like, here's the thing with the 76ers,
00:22and this is something that they've been doing for years.
00:25You know, they always want to get underneath the luxury tax.
00:28So now you look at the 76ers, and you say to yourself, like,
00:32okay, they're $7 million over.
00:35Kelly Oubre is making $8.3 million.
00:38Now, to me, you can't get rid of Kelly Oubre,
00:41not the way that he's been playing lately.
00:43Now, again, I know that he's going to want to make more money next year,
00:47but you don't get rid of him.
00:49But I do think that there are two guys, you know, one being Eric Gordon,
00:54you know, another guy possibly maybe being Andre Drummond.
00:57If the 76ers want to go that route and get underneath the tax threshold,
01:02I do think that they could be guys who could be on the go, right?
01:06I honestly do.
01:08But what that would do is what the Sixers would have to do.
01:11I think, you know, they've got to get a 10-day guy, right,
01:16in order to keep these other guys talking about Don Barlow
01:19and Jabari Walker.
01:22So I wouldn't be shocked if we see a center coming here on a 10-day,
01:28and if he works out, if they're able to trade Drummond,
01:31then all of a sudden you have this guy, you know, being a reserve.
01:36But you've got to be careful, too, because of Embiid's injury history.
01:39But I do think that something is going to happen.
