00:00I believe this season is the legacy-defining season for Joel Embiid, out of all of them.
00:06And here's why.
00:08Joel Embiid, I'm arguably his biggest fan in the city, right?
00:13Like, yeah, I love that man.
00:14If the same things pop up with the guy that is supposed to kind of get everybody in the same
00:20direction,
00:21everybody in shape, everybody there to win it,
00:26then everybody's excuses will just go right into the trash.
00:30It might be a boiling take, but I think this season, out of all of them,
00:34because right now, Joel Embiid's legacy is what if.
00:37Right? That's his legacy.
00:38Yeah.
00:38What if he stayed healthy?
00:40But there are legitimate things where you can point to Joel Embiid being at fault.
00:44Like the poops against the Toronto Raptors because my man's staying out late with Trevor Noah.
00:49Right?
00:49Like, there are things about Joel Embiid, and I blame the Sixers organization for some of it
00:53because they let him do whatever he wanted, but Joel Embiid could have said,
00:57all right, I'm going to figure things out on my own.
01:01Right?
01:01I'm not going to just continue to live my life the way I want to live my life.
01:05That hasn't really happened.
01:07And if it doesn't happen with LeBron James,
01:10and he's like the one teammate that doesn't follow LeBron's lead,
01:14this would be the season that defines his legacy.
01:16This is the season that defines his legacy.
