00:00Are there any early names that we should be looking at and kind of studying that could be the hire
00:05for the Sixers?
00:06Really, the best thing you can do is look at other recent vacancies and think about which guys were up
00:11for those,
00:12which people were up for, you know, the Chicago Bulls vacancy, for example, which went to Bryson Graham.
00:17A few of the names that did not get that, Matt Lloyd, who's the general manager of the Timberwolves,
00:21he worked his way up from a communications job with the Bulls into being a GM for the Timberwolves.
00:26He's thought of as one of the highest ranking executives that is not a number one in the NBA that
00:32might get a lead shot caller job soon.
00:35An interesting one to me is a guy named Vince Rosman, who worked for the Sixers for almost two decades,
00:41maybe 15 years or so, starting in 2006.
00:45He ended up in charge of sort of their scouting and player development program during a really strong period for
00:51the organization.
00:52On both of those fronts, he left for Oklahoma City and has been running their draft process for the last
00:58few years.
00:59That has obviously gone very well.
01:01He's someone that that Daryl Morey, Sam Hinckley have both spoken very highly of in the past.
01:06And then you get into, you know, someone more experienced like a Dennis Lindsay, who ran the Jazz for 10
01:11years.
01:11He's now a higher up in Detroit.
01:13There are a lot of interesting names you can come up with.
01:16And there are even a couple agents out there that have flirted with the idea of sort of switching to
01:22the other side of the negotiation table.
01:24Could that be?
01:25That's how Bob Myers got his start.
01:26Remember, Bob Myers was an agent when Golden State hired him.
01:29Could he be more prone to hiring someone like that?
01:32I think that's a potentially interesting thought here.
