00:00oh what do you think of q school that entire experience yeah don't want to do that one again
00:04um i was i was quite lucky um with the new thing that they brought in because i won second stage
00:12and got status straight onto the corn ferry so um that helped me a lot to go to the final stage
00:18and just play for five spots play for those five spots and kind of just have a free round of golf
00:24at um in song in um in jacksonville so it was it was pretty cool to just have no pressure on that
00:31final final stretch but um yeah we gave it a go i remember playing on uh across the road at the
00:37country club and um i think i shot like 78 or something something like six or seven over and
00:44then going across to the dice and shooting like seven under and i jumped like 150 spots between
00:51the two days i mean weather wise it was brutal that one day and and the next you can play
00:56almost 20 shots difference it was pretty crazy but um yeah i'm happy to kind of go through that and um
01:03get through that first year and um had a good good year on corn fair as well
01:08yeah i want to talk about the corn fairy tour because it's a uh typically golf courses that are
01:15are a little more narrow shorter not necessarily a place where you're where someone like you who's
01:22so long and can just dominate these big boy ballparks with your length uh maybe isn't able
01:27to hit driver quite as much on the corn fairy tour uh as playing the pga tour how big of a challenge was
01:33it for you developmentally to to kind of find a different part of your game to play a little bit
01:39more plotting off at times um and how that affected you i would say in your development uh towards the
01:46pga tour i mean it was tough i think um there was a lot of two irons hit that year and um i got to a
01:53stage where i was like okay let's try and hit hit more drives and maybe just have that 60 80 yard
01:58shots in even if it is from the rough and kind of try to change a lot of the game plans going forward
02:05and it was quite difficult it's kind of the first full year playing in the states so playing on
02:09bermuda grass playing on all these different golf courses for the first time i think that kind of
02:14made it also pretty difficult um putting on bermuda grass it's it's pretty tough we don't get grain
02:20over here so um a lot of adjustments um we had to make and um yeah i didn't have a coach traveling
02:27with me so it was just me and my dad kind of figuring everything out so um but it was it was nice to
02:33kind of get that get that pj tour card at the end of the year and knowing that um i spent a lot of
02:39time on the tour truck and a lot of the guys would kind of just tell me hey get through this year and
02:44you'd love it on the pj tour
