Valentino Garavani, the renowned Italian fashion designer, has died at age 93.  According to his foundation, Garavani passed away at his Roman residence, surrounded by loved ones.  He was best known for his glamorous red dresses, leopard prints and elegant gowns, counting celebrities like Princess Diana and Elizabeth Taylor among his admirers.  His funeral is scheduled for Friday, January 23rd, at the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri in Rome.
