Anne Hathaway, Lauren Sanchez Bezos and Laura Pausini among stars at Pierpaolo Piccioli's Balenciaga debut

Italian fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli unveiled his first collection for Balenciaga in front of a star-studded crowd on Saturday, October 4.

Among the A-listers attending the Balenciaga spring/summer 2026 collection presentation at the Paris Fashion Week were actors Anne Hathaway, Simone Ashley and Isabelle Huppert, musicians FKA Twigs and Annie Moon, models Vittoria Ceretti and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and media personalities Lauren Sanchez Bezos and Georgina Rodriguez.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, also made her Paris Fashion Week debut at the show. Markle did not walk past the large crowds gathered outside the venue.

French luxury group Kering appointed Piccioli as the creative director at Balenciaga in May this year. He replaced Demna, who took up the chief design job at the group's top label Gucci.

Piccioli, 58, joined Balenciaga after a 25-year tenure at Valentino, working as the label's sole creative director for nearly a decade.
