00:00So you spent some time with Jordan this week.
00:02You were with him for some practice rounds, with him on Thursday.
00:05Where do you feel like he is in terms of readiness to contend, health in the wrist,
00:11and just his ongoing obsession with perfection of the golf swing
00:14or getting it to a place he wants to be?
00:16Where do you feel like Jordan is on all those fronts?
00:18Well, I thought it was a positive week for him.
00:20He drove it well, just didn't seem to make enough putts.
00:23He said he just left so many putts on the front lip, it felt like for a couple days.
00:27The greens were, to me, when I walked on them, they were soft.
00:30They were kind of thatchy, tough to really figure out how to play the win with the grain.
00:35And so I think some players struggle with that.
00:37Some players didn't.
00:38Davis Riley seemed to buck the trend as far as being able to make putts
00:42where other guys weren't.
00:44But I thought it was a good week for him.
00:45He had a lot of quality golf shots, and he'll have two weeks off
00:48before he goes to, I believe, Pebble is his next event.
00:52So he goes Amex, Farmers, and then Pebble.
00:55So I have a couple weeks off to kind of work on some of the things
00:57to build off of a solid week.
01:00I think he would say he left a lot of meat on the bone this week,
01:03being pretty close to having that one good round to get him inside the top 10.
01:09But overall, I think a positive week for him just needs to clean up the putting a little bit.
01:13And hey, he was in the tough wave.
01:15He was putting in some really difficult conditions with a lot of crosswind.
01:20So get him on some greens that maybe not quite as windy.
01:25We'll see if that putter heats up for him.
