00:00Fast forwarding to the AFC Championship game, I mean, there's no other way to put it.
00:04This has gone from, you know, house money to you got to win this game.
00:11Yeah.
00:11I mean, that's completely fair.
00:14You, Christopher, what do you say about that?
00:17The expectations have changed.
00:19Right.
00:19You know, not just for the, you know, the way the Patriots are playing, but obviously,
00:23you know, the Bo Nix-Jarrett Stidham situation.
00:25The wild card for me coming into this game, and I'm glad John mentioned it there at the
00:29top of the hour, is J.K. Dobbins.
00:31If J.K. Dobbins can be effective at all, when he's been healthy, he's been a good back.
00:35Not a great back, but a good back.
00:36If he can be healthy, if he can get healthy in time for this game, which is obviously
00:41a question mark, but if he can get healthy in time for this game, it gives the Broncos
00:44another option, you know, and it gives maybe, you know, Stidham a little bit more time back
00:50there.
00:50If he can be effective running the ball, and I'm not talking wildly effective.
00:53I mean, look, this is a guy who averaged, I think it was 77 yards a game over the first
00:5710 games of the season before the foot injury, five yards a carry.
01:00So he's good, not great, but he gives them another option when it comes to maybe showing
01:05the Patriots a little bit of a different look.
01:07Is there anything about Jared Stidham, though, to make you think that the Patriots are not
01:12going to be able to do to him what they did to Herbert, what they did to C.J. Stroud,
01:17and even to a greater extent to where they could render him completely ineffective?
01:21I mean, does he have anything that they need to be concerned about?
01:26I think, Hardy, the first quarter is going to tell you everything you need to know about
01:31where Jared Stidham is.
01:32If the Patriots are able to get up early, if the Patriots can build a 10-point lead, a
01:3614-point lead, then you're going to be able to pin your ears back and get after the quarterback,
01:40and you're going to see a lot of situations like we saw over the course of the first two
01:43playoff games where they're able to generate pressure.
01:45You know that the Broncos are fundamentally playing with one hand tied behind their back
01:51because they have to throw to get back in the game.
01:53So then I think things could kind of start to roll downhill.
01:56But if the Broncos can, I don't know, find some special teams magic in the early going,
02:00block a punt, run a kickback, whatever the case may be, you don't want to let them get
02:04that momentum going and have that carry over to the offensive side of them.
