ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ (GBA) ಚುನಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇ 25ರ ನಂತರ ನಡೆಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಸೂಚನೆಯಂತೆ ಜೂನ್‌ 30ರೊಳಗೆ ಮತದಾನ ನಡೆಯುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.
ದೀರ್ಘ ವಿಳಂಬದ ಬಳಿಕ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಪಕ್ಕಾ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿವೆ.

Preparations are underway to hold the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) elections after May 25, with voting expected to take place before June 30 in line with Supreme Court directions.
After a long delay, both the state government and the election commission have expressed confidence that the elections will definitely be conducted this time.
