00:37The renewal of the series comes just three weeks after the second season debut of what Hulu says is its most watched comedy.
00:44Ahead of the show's season two premiere, Steve Martin told The Hollywood Reporter why he thinks the comedy's three stars make such a great on-screen team.
00:51Well, you know, there's a magic element.
00:52You know, Marty and I have been, you know, working together for almost 40 years.
00:56And the magic element is Selena.
00:58She kind of throws us off base and, you know, we're actually talking to a person who's 40 years younger than we are.
01:06And it's kind of, you don't quite know what she's going to do as a character or as a person.
01:09Just watching her deliver these lines in such an offbeat way throws you off.
01:14You have to kind of reset yourself.
01:16To me, that's the charm.
01:17That's what chemistry is, just not knowing what the other person's going to do.
