It’s the end of the road for Marvel’s Hulu drama 'Runaways.' It’s been announced that the upcoming third season will be its last.

00:00It's the end of the road for the Marvel drama Runaways. Hulu announced on Monday
00:10that its upcoming third season of the young adult-focused series will be its
00:14last. The show will return on December 13th for its final season. Now this news
00:18comes as Marvel TV executive Jeff Loeb is expected to formally announce his
00:22departure before Thanksgiving and means Loeb's Marvel TV roster continues to
00:27dwindle. Runaways is now the latest Loeb-developed Marvel TV series to come to
00:34an end after Freeform's Cloak & Dagger was canceled in October following a two-season
00:39run and FX's Legion ended earlier this year. Meanwhile, ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
00:44will close up shop in 2020. Looking forward, the rest of Marvel's TV series are being
00:48produced by the comic book powerhouse's film division that has been overseen by
00:52Kevin Feige. Now those include Disney Plus's live-action spin-offs of its hugely
00:56successful Marvel Cinematic Universe movies like Loki starring Tom Hiddleston,
01:00WandaVision with Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen, and Falcon and the Winter
01:04Soldier led by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. As for Runaways, Greg Sulkin,
01:08Jay Marsters, and Everett Carradine starred in the show, which was based on Brian K.
01:12Vaughn's comic book series.
