00:00Welcome to Tranquillum House.
00:03The people who come here, they come to heal.
00:06Nine Perfect Strangers is nearing a season two renewal at Hulu.
00:10If the show, which was originally billed as a limited series, is renewed,
00:14it would follow the same path as fellow David E. Kelly project Big Little Lies,
00:18which was originally set up to be a limited series before it was brought back for a second season.
00:23Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Hulu will submit the show for Emmys consideration
00:26as an ongoing drama, rather than in the presumed limited series category.
00:31Based on the book by Big Little Lies author Leigh-Anne Moriarty,
00:34season one of the star-studded drama took place over a 10-day span at a health and wellness resort.
00:39I'm not sure I'm really supposed to be here.
00:43My vote is give this thing a shot, open up a new door.
00:46The cast included Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, who both executive produced,
00:50as well as Regina Hall and Luke Evans, just to name a few.
00:54Details on season two are being firmed up ahead of an expected formal renewal announcement.
00:58It's unclear if Nine Perfect Strangers will become an anthology with a new cast every season
01:03or feature the same group of characters.
