00:00I personally am now starting to believe that Seattle is the best football team in the National Football League.
00:07There is no doubt about it.
00:10They are now inching closer here.
00:12They will obviously wait the winner of today's Rams and Chicago game.
00:17That's going to be really a weather game.
00:19We'll see how that plays out.
00:20We'll talk more about that a little bit later on.
00:22But Seattle has built this.
00:25I want to take you to John Schneider, their general manager, who I have great respect for.
00:30You come out of the Pete Carroll era, and now you're going into a new era, completely different faces that you have in that organization now.
00:42Look at how they've constructed.
00:43Look how they have built that football team.
00:46They still keep the premise, and they still stay within the framework of what they believe is winning football.
00:53You know what that is?
00:54Running the ball and playing lights out defense.
00:57You better bring your big boy pants if you're going to play Seattle.
01:02You know, a couple weeks ago, I didn't realize that they were this dominant until I saw them play against the Rams on the season finale.
01:09Then you started seeing that team, and as they're getting better and better and better and better and stronger each week,
01:16you're seeing that start to get the confidence more and more.
01:20Remember something.
01:20Okay, confidence comes with winning.
01:25Nothing more.
01:27Don't ever have anybody tell you, well, you know, if you play well.
01:30No, winning creates confidence.
01:33And that football team, right now, at the beginning of the year, and you know, what was the biggest issue that people didn't give them enough credit for?
01:44You know what it was?
01:45The quarterback.
01:46Every time people get ready to say Seattle's the best team in the NFL, you know what the problem is?
01:51They land on Sam Darnold.
01:54Clint Kubiak kept him in the rails.
01:57Kept him in the sandbox.
01:58Lucks didn't have to throw for 350 yards in this game.
02:02That wasn't needed.
02:05They are calling a great game plan for Sam Darnold.
02:09And you keep him in that lane.
02:12You let that defense take over.
02:15And that offensive line, one of the more underlying stories for Seattle this year has been that offensive line and how well they've played.
02:25I'll tell you what, if you want to make the comment, you can make the comment here that that football team is maybe the best football team on both lines, offensive and defensive line.
02:35No doubt about it.
02:37Fantastic stuff here from the Seattle Seahawks, man.
02:40What a destruction.
02:42They just absolutely beat that rear end there in San Francisco.
02:46That is exactly how you move yourself in to the NFC championship game.
