00:00Several NATO members have issued a joint statement warning Trump's Greenland threat risks, quote,
00:06a dangerous downward spiral.
00:10Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia is taking aim at Ukraine's nuclear power systems in an attempt
00:16to deliberately harm civilians and freeze Kyiv into submission.
00:22The UK, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden have issued a joint statement
00:29saying Trump's Greenland threat risks, quote, a dangerous downward spiral and undermines
00:35transatlantic relations.
00:39The NATO members then went on to say that they stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of
00:44Denmark and the people of Greenland and are ready to engage in a dialogue based on their
00:49principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
00:54On Sunday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said in an interview a US invasion of Greenland
01:00would make Putin, quote, the happiest man on earth.
01:03He explained that any military action by the US against Denmark would damage NATO and legitimize
01:09the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
01:14European leaders have pledged a united response after US President Donald Trump threatened fresh
01:19tariffs until Denmark agrees to sell Greenland.
01:27Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia is readying itself to carry out strikes
01:32against the country's nuclear power plants in an attempt to freeze Kyiv into submission.
01:37Zelensky slammed Moscow for its continued attacks, accusing them of showing no willingness to end the
01:43war and deliberately dragging on diplomatic processes. Kyiv says more than 200 drones were fired across
01:51Ukraine, targeting Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Odessa and other regions, killing two people
01:58and injuring dozens including one child. Attacks as of late have increasingly been targeting energy sites
02:05in what Ukraine says is a move intended to increase civilian suffering in the middle of winter.
02:10The repeated strikes caused thousands of homes to lose access to gas and electricity,
02:16prompting constant emergency repair and maintenance works.
02:20The attacks, according to Kyiv, have also escalated in severity, with this week alone seeing more
02:26than 1,300 drones, 1,000 guided aerial bombs and over two dozen missiles, including ballistics,
02:33being fired across the border. The Ukrainian President called on allies to boost support to
02:38his embattled country and ramp up pressure on Russia to force him to the negotiating table.
02:46German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is set to host Syria's interim president Ahmad al-Sharrah in Berlin.
02:52The visit has riled many people, including Ali Ertan Toprak, the federal chairman of the Kurdish
02:58community, who views al-Sharrah as a dictator and would rather see him in handcuffs than international
03:04receptions.
03:06In Syria, there are 150,000 Kurdish civilists in the war. There were different minority groups
03:14there since the massacres of the massacres. They are all documented by different people,
