00:01Hello to everybody here who is subscribed to this channel.
00:04This is good old Luke here.
00:06I just wanted to pretty much make this quick update video.
00:09Pretty much recapping everything of what happened this year.
00:13Talk about why there hasn't been a YouTube Poop or either a Y2P Christmas collab announced this year.
00:19Explaining the videos that have been released for this year.
00:22What is going to be happening moving forward.
00:25And pretty much bring up some stuff that I haven't even listed in the intro or on the list here.
00:30So for the entirety of 2025 you may have noticed that my output of YouTube Poops have pretty much not been in existence in the entire year.
00:39In fact I haven't actually made a full blown YouTube Poop for years.
00:43And even with the ones that have been uploaded are just videos that have been made in 2024.
00:48And the videos I have created is pretty much a guptail parody.
00:53A reaction video about Tom and Dr. Alive living the dream.
00:57And two like full blown reviews.
00:59With one of them actually being a 4 on 1 out of 24 minute review.
01:04And the other is a short 10 minute review.
01:06Now what is my reason for pretty much pivoting away from YouTube Poops for the entirety of 2025?
01:12Well I just wanted to make new types of content.
01:15And get a little bit weird with it.
01:17And that's what I pretty much did for the entire year.
01:19Even though there has been a big gap of no videos coming out around that time.
01:24And there was actually planned for more videos though.
01:27But I pretty much just gone lazy for the entire year.
01:30Although the second reason which I forgot to mention.
01:33Is that I just wanted to find my own footing with the new audience.
01:37Which is pretty much people from the Mii community.
01:39And a couple of PlayStation fans who absolutely love the Astro Bot.
01:43Cause you see uh the people who are new to the channel.
01:46Who don't actually know who I used to make back in the day.
01:50I actually was part of the Splatoon GMI community.
01:53Who made pretty much Splatoon GMI made content.
01:55Which still to this day is the most viewed videos on the channel.
01:59And the reason why you see my channel have 13k subs.
02:03It was actually a really great time for while it lasted.
02:06But even then success can only get you this far.
02:10And to be fair that's what I always wanted to be.
02:13I mean I always still do wanted to make silly goofy old videos.
02:17But I still do wanted to become an artist.
02:20I pretty much made it work that they're very proud of.
02:22I'm not trying to say I don't want to become an artist anymore.
02:26I mean I still want to.
02:27But then here's the thing about the content that I was making back in the day.
02:31It was pretty much unsustainable and wouldn't last for very long.
02:36And plus it's pretty much feel more like a fad that you're trying to make a quick video for.
02:41Before it gets stale more or less.
02:43But what's even worse than that is that.
02:45You're pretty much being a part of the community.
02:48And making videos where pretty much mostly kids are watching it.
02:52Well more or less teenagers than like kids under 13.
02:56Now I'm not saying that making videos for literal teenagers is not actually a horrible idea.
03:03In fact if you're actually responsible enough.
03:06I think it wouldn't be wrong to make videos for a certain age group.
03:10The problem for me here is that at the time that I made this video.
03:14I was just a naive goofy little teenager.
03:17Just wanted to make funny videos no matter what.
03:20And so that's just why the videos were made as it is.
03:23But then it's when the time when I finally turned into an adult.
03:27Is that when I decided to start pivoting away from that community.
03:32More or less it's due to the fact that like.
03:35Even though I like the content that I made back in the day.
03:38And it has grown so much bigger than I expected.
03:41I feel like I'm just making a bunch of videos for a child like group.
03:47Instead of like making videos for a group of people my age.
03:51Doesn't help the fact that certain people in the community pretty much did some horrible stuff to teenagers.
03:57So around like 2018 to like 2021.
04:01I pretty much pivoted so much of my content to YouTube poops.
04:05The Gmod content that was pretty much a part of the channel.
04:08In which I actually was constantly making even then.
04:12Started to pretty much so not become a thing.
04:15Around the mid of 2021.
04:18I just stopped making that type of content altogether.
04:21And then in the beginning of 2022.
04:24I was thinking that it's pretty much a perfect time to start rebranding the channel.
04:29Into something that made for people like me.
04:32And not made for people that pretty much under the age of 13.
04:36Or shouldn't be on the internet to begin with.
04:39And so around July of 2022.
04:42I finally made an announcement video that I rebranded the channel into something that feels more like me.
04:48And you know what?
04:49Thank you so much for everybody who actually was very supportive of this change.
04:54It actually warms my heart to see so many people very supportive of this change.
04:59It gave me a side of relief that I could pretty much make whatever I want.
05:03And specific people will absolutely come and watch it and leave a comment.
05:08And pretty much give engagement to the video.
05:11In fact leaving a comment on the video actually lets me know that you absolutely watched the video and enjoyed it.
05:18But after the rebranding the problem started to arise.
05:21And I really hit a brick wall into what I wanted to make.
05:25Cause each YouTube poop that I made is made for like a specific collaboration project.
05:30Or just a simple fun edit.
05:32And pretty much the big projects I have done on the channel is just big YouTube poop collab projects.
05:38And most of them are just Christmas classics on copyrighted materials like Frosty the Snowman.
05:45And then years later, you guessed it, started to get blocked on YouTube because of copyrighted materials.
05:52And sadly though, I don't think I can either re-upload those collab projects without them being blocked.
05:58Or either then, like going through some hoops.
06:02So I unfortunately had to like upload it onto different websites including Internet Archive.
06:08Sorry to all the people who were hoping to see these videos again up on YouTube.
06:13But these unfortunately will have to be the only way to see the collabs again.
06:17Although speaking of YouTube poop collabs, the elf collab unfortunately is no longer going to be an actual thing that is happening.
06:25I understand that is hard to think about.
06:28But I really haven't actually heard from AbbaDVD or hear any updates on him.
06:34But I'm feeling like that Abba pretty much abandoned the project as well.
06:39So I'm pretty much am going to say that yeah, the collab is cancelled.
06:44Although if Abba still wanted to do the collab, I'm thinking that he's going to make a separate video on his own announcing it and making a separate Discord server for it.
06:54Alright, now that the news on the elf collab is out of the way, let's just talk about some other stuff about the channel.
07:00Making YouTube poops and being part of this YouTube poop community was actually was really fun for a long time.
07:07In fact, making YouTube poops actually lasted a lot longer than I actually expected it.
07:12But even after all that, I started to somehow get what an artist usually called an art block.
07:18Where ideas for like YouTube poops and jokes for those videos will absolutely come up.
07:23But then after that, I would just not go through with it.
07:26And then it pretty much gets worse though, because like for months, I barely even started like making any types of videos.
07:33And when I finally do make a video, it's just only a few minutes long.
07:38Just only around like 2 to 3.
07:40Or even worse, 1.
07:42In fact, for the entirety of 2024, I have barely ever tried to make any new types of YouTube poops for that year.
07:50And so by the end of 2024, I was thinking,
07:54And you know, I kind of don't have any great ideas for YouTube poops or any types of collab ideas that I want to do.
08:02And so I decided, you know what?
08:05Why don't I just like make new types of videos for the entirety of 2045 and just take a break from YouTube poops for that entire year?
08:13And so that's what I did.
08:16A full-on guptail parody on the top 10 hottest me's.
08:19A full-on reaction video on a new announcement of living a dream.
08:24And 2 reviews on video games.
08:26One which is a full hour and a half on 3 video games.
08:30And another one which is just a 13 minute review on Astro Bot.
08:35In fact, I feel like though, I actually made really good videos for this year.
08:39So much different from the YouTube poops and much more interesting and unique than any other video that I've ever done.
08:47Unfortunately, all 4 of those videos are not doing so well.
08:52I mean, aside from like the guptail parody, but like, yeah, most of them are barely breaking a thousand.
08:59But even then, I actually did a lot more live streams for this year.
09:03I did a full-blown like reaction live stream on random videos, 3 also horror YouTube poop collapse, a Nintendo Direct, the Game Awards, and I ended up with a full-blown marathon on CGI on a toe.
09:16The problem for me is that I'm kind of am not very consistent at making content as fast as I could.
09:23It's pretty much still is a toss-up between actually having a video ready though.
09:27And then 7 months later, uh, I finally made a video.
09:31Unfortunately, it's pretty short, around like 1 minute long.
09:35And it's pretty much a meme or a reaction.
09:39And what's worse, with all the effort, I barely get rewarded at all with the people watching it.
09:45It sucks though, cause it took like a month to get that video finished.
09:50I mean, like, it took like a really long time to get all the footage that I need, and then like a month to edit.
09:56So, it was pretty much around like 5 to 6 months of video making to get that thing done.
10:02Cause basically, absolutely loved all those games.
10:05Well, LEGO Horizon though, is just okay.
10:09It's alright.
10:10I mean, I don't love it though.
10:12But like, it's pretty much got too much hate when it launched.
10:15LEGO Horizon Adventures was actually the last game that I ever recorded on the system.
10:21And pretty much the first part that was actually, uh, edited in total.
10:25Sackboy Big Adventures was the last segment to be edited.
10:29And pretty much the Ratchet & Clank segment was secondly edited.
10:33Uh, unfortunately, I did not really finish LEGO Horizon Adventures.
10:37Cause like, I pretty much wanted to get that segment done very quickly before moving on to the other two.
10:42Cause I absolutely loved Sackboy and Rift Apart.
10:46But unfortunately, despite all of that though, I've barely seen anybody here talk about both Sackboy and Rift Apart.
10:54Uh, even before and after Astro Bot release.
10:57I'm not saying though that I hate Astro Bot.
10:59I mean, it's absolutely very good.
11:01I pretty much seen though love go to the other two games as well.
11:06They were pretty much released around the early years of the PS5.
11:10Maybe that was the reason why those games didn't get talked about even after the release of Astro Bot.
11:16So, I pretty much made it my mission to actually go ahead and start making a full blown video on both Sackboy and Rift Apart.
11:25Including LEGO Horizon Adventures.
11:26I mean, the game pretty much released around the same year as Astro Bot.
11:31And it was released on Steam and PS5 and the Nintendo Switch.
11:35Plus, I don't think there would be any other way to talk about this game without talking about the other two games that released way before LEGO Horizon or Astro Bot.
11:43Okay, I think I'm going off topic.
11:45I need to get back to the point of the video.
11:47So, what's actually the plan for me in 2026?
11:51Well, to be honest, I actually don't know.
11:54But I do have a few ideas of what I want to make.
11:57First of all, YouTube poops.
11:59I'm going to be trying to go back into making them.
12:02But it won't be as plentiful like it did years ago.
12:05In fact, I don't think I'm going to be able to be making a lot of videos like it did back in the day years ago.
12:11But to be honest, I'm just going to go with my own flow in content making.
12:16I'll just be making the videos when I want to make them.
12:20And the videos are going to be done when they're done.
12:22Depends on if the videos can be taking months to make or just in a few days.
12:27I've got a couple ideas of reviews I want to make.
12:30I want to make a review on Puppeteer.
12:33And another one on the Ape Escape PlayStation Move game.
12:37I actually have bought them both digitally on the PlayStation Storefront for PS3.
12:42I haven't actually played the games yet.
12:45But I will when I finally be able to set up my capture card to record them on the console.
12:50The next video ideas I want to do is pretty much a couple of collaboration projects with a couple of friends and a few people in the YouTube community.
12:59But what kind of video ideas do you want to make for a collaboration?
13:02Well, have you ever heard about the group called Super Origami Kingdom?
13:06Or at least Super Origami Universe?
13:09It's like a group of people on YouTube that make reviews and rants on media, games, and other types of content.
13:16I want to try to do that type of content on this channel.
13:19I want to try to do one video with my YouTube Poop friends.
13:23And then later on this year when I feel like I'm ready to collaborate with other people,
13:27I'll announce a video later on to get people to join in and see if they want to be a part of it.
13:33Now that that's out of the way, what about YouTube Poop collab projects?
13:38Well, I actually do have good news.
13:40I'm going to be announcing a YouTube Poop collab around February this year.
13:44Unfortunately, it's not a Christmas collab.
13:46That's going to be announced later around September, October of that year.
13:51But I promise I will do a Christmas collab for this year.
13:54It's just I just want to get this one out of the way first for this year around February.
13:59So stay tuned for that.

14:06I kind of do apologize for being a little rambly and all over the place.
14:11But it's been a long time since I ever tried doing a video like this.
