Hi there to the ones who follow me on daily motion. (Okay maybe not)
I know that I've been gone for a long time, But I've just been occupied with other stuff. Just gaming and summer. But I've started work on my newest video. I've Just finished the intro of the video, and I have only finished recording some reviews of the two games with one review left to do. And it's going to be taking a while to get this big video done. So, I've uploaded a preview of the intro for the next review.

00:00You
00:30A few months ago, I've been saving enough of my own money on hand to get myself a Switch
00:362 for myself, just so I can experience some other Switch 2 games like DK Bonanza and maybe
00:42even better running version of Switch 1 games as well.
00:46Yet, despite my best efforts, every single local store I go to, not even a single console
00:52in there, just only the games and pretty much even the accessories.
00:56Later on, I was actually able to acquire a Switch 2 at an eBay auction.
01:01The money that I actually was going to the Switch 2 was used instead for a second hand
01:06PS5 at a random thrift store and Astro Bot.
01:10And let me tell you, Astro Bot is just so good.
01:14A 3D platformer game that came from Team Visobi with devs that moved from the shutdown of Japan
01:19Studios.
01:20Astro Bot is pretty much a little blur to Playstation's entire history going from the PS1 to the PS5.
01:26not just only from the first parties, but even third parties as well.
01:31The entire game is really delightful to play.
01:34It has really created the level designs, great soundtrack, and even some really fun boss fights
01:40that even put Mario to screen.
01:42In fact, even at the end of each area, there's an entire level that is themed to one specific
01:47franchise like Ape Escape and God of War.
01:51But I should mention that I haven't actually finished the entire game, just only two chapters.
01:55But I will get to finish it eventually.
01:58Concord was supposed to be Playstation's big hit for 2024 while Astro Bot was supposed to
02:03be their dessert for Playstation fans.
02:06Yet you know the story.
02:07Concord only lasted for two weeks before sending the servers down.
02:11Playstation lost 400 million dollars, wasted eight years of development, and the studios
02:15that made the game got shut down.
02:18Yet Astro Bot got the highest rating on INDP and other news sites, and even one game in
02:24the year for 2024.
02:26Which that was a pretty big surprise.
02:28The first ever 3D platformer game to one game of the year, and pretty much a Playstation
02:34platformer game that had been praised by everybody, especially Nintendo fans, that's a huge accomplishment
02:40for Team Assoby and Astro Bot.
02:42I mean, all of us agree that like Astro Bot is pretty much peak platforming joy.
02:47There's not even a single flaw that pretty much ruins the entire experience of the game.
02:52Not even one problem that pretty much calls into questioning on why people praised it online
02:58everywhere compared to other games.
03:01Well, actually, there is one problem about the game I do kind of have beef with.
03:12And it pretty much is an opinion, but even still, this is a problem that I keep thinking
03:18about over and over again, and it doesn't seem to be keeping it out in the back of my
03:23mind.
03:24And it's that, like, so many people who played Astro Bot on PS5 only seems to pretty
03:30much say that Astro Bot was their second platformer game on the PS5.
03:35Not even like, uh, their third or fourth platformer?
03:40Just a second?
03:41It goes without saying, like, we are getting a lot more 3D platformers these days, but like,
03:45most of them are indie, but we don't really get that, like, Nintendo-style, triple-A, super
03:51high-budget, high-polished 3D platformer.
03:53Oh?
03:54We don't get that a whole lot.
03:55Okay.
03:56I think that these people who are clamoring for the demand of these old long-dead franchises
04:01to come back, trying to call out on these big companies to show them that they have been
04:06a neglectful family by leaving these series to die, are very much the same people who are
04:12pretty much also buying the same games that they say there are soulless, yet ignoring the
04:17actual games that they actually asked for, and yet they always ask the same question,
04:22why can't these companies make the games like I used to love back in the day?
04:27And that's why, with my SMILLED intellect and with me coming to the conclusion that I think
04:33everyone online is dumb except for me, it's gonna do what none of these players who play
04:38the same soulless game will ever do.
04:42Actually play the other triple-A platformers that aren't just from Nintendo or indie devs.
04:47I have three platformer games that Sony released during the PS5 era that are well brilliant
04:54in their own right and are massive people that aren't just memory-buried the game.
04:59I think we should start out with a little game that pretty much flew under the radar in everyone's
05:03eyes.
05:04A game that I think is underrated and deserves to be recognized by everyone and not just
05:09be the game that is labeled, haha, the game that performed worse than Concord, and it's
05:16like Horizon Adventures.
05:17AHHHHH!
05:18AHHHHH!
05:19AHHHHH!
05:20AHHHHH!
