Hamilton all breed weaner heifer sale

Elders Hamilton livestock manager Aaron Malseed describes Thursday’s sale of all breed heifers.

00:00A crackin' pan of heifers there ladies and gentlemen on the corner.

00:03What are those there? $4.50, $4.50, $4.40.

00:07We started around 13.50 heifers, all breed heifers here today

00:11with ourselves, Elders, Utrean, JJ Kelly and Brian O'Hellan.

00:15Very good line up for heifers.

00:17They pretty much made from $4.40 to $4.50 consistent over the whole day.

00:24Didn't really matter what color they were.

00:27The red and white soldiers sold very similar to the black job.

00:32It was the odd select pen that did go back to the greeners that make any of what they thought they used.

00:36The main buyers had Andrew 1, Miller 1 and John.

00:38You had Joaquin McKenzie from McKenzie Ag.

00:41Mark Greening and Jamyra.

00:43He had his own order in the Queensland order.

00:46And then we had Elders Kalara and a few local buyers.
