00:00Stability is what people are looking at.
00:02Pittsburgh usually has that.
00:03Other organizations do want that.
00:05John Harbaugh gave stability there in Baltimore,
00:07and now he was out and looking for a new job.
00:10The Giants and the Falcons remain leading candidates
00:13to land John Harbaugh along with many other organizations.
00:15If I gave you just those two teams right here,
00:18to me, I think it's a – the Giants can't look at and say,
00:21like, oh, I really need to get Jackson.
00:24You need stability in that organization,
00:27and I think he would bring that where you get an honest effort
00:29on a week-to-week basis.
00:31They haven't had a coach like that in a long time.
00:33The Atlanta Falcons, for me, I want more offensive-minded head coaches,
00:36but Harbaugh, Giants and Falcons at the top of the radar right now for him.
00:41Yeah, and I think it makes the most sense, right?
00:44I mean, we're hearing Giants, Falcons, Tennessee Titans
00:47as the favorites to land Harbaugh.
00:50But he is, without a doubt, the most coveted candidate
00:53in this year's coaching cycle.
00:55I mean, it's not even close at this particular point.
00:58So Giants make the most sense, especially for an organization
01:03that used to be like the Steelers where, you know, back in the day,
01:08stability, they'd give you all the resources you needed to be successful,
01:11but they haven't been that organization in a very long time,
01:15and maybe Harbaugh can help them get back to that place.
01:19Going back to those Harbaugh Ravens days,
01:21here's Steve Bichotti talking about firing Harbaugh.
01:23Question, I never in my mind, in my, you know,
01:28I never dreamed of firing somebody by phone,
01:32but the reality is when I made my decision on Tuesday afternoon,
01:37I was home and he was in his car heading to his house.
01:41And I thought it would kind of be a jerk move to call him up and say,
01:45hey, coach, meet me at the office in an hour.
01:48I mean, he probably would have said, yes, Steve,
01:51I'd rather not want to just tell me over the phone.
01:54And when I did tell him my, the decision that I made,
01:58I said, I'm really sorry about doing this over the phone.
02:01I wish we were together.
02:03And he said, I, you'd loan me an apology for that either.
02:06There you go.
02:09As soon as I heard the word, he's how he said phone.
02:11I was like, that's one of my own here.
02:12So I just looked up Steve Bichotti.
02:13Of course he was, he was born in Philadelphia, Joe.
02:16Nice dialect where we like water.
02:17And we also like the golf around here as well, Joe.
02:21Yeah.
02:21I mean, it's, you know, you're still,
02:23you could have offered the guy like a steak dinner and then fired him.
02:27Like, I don't know what you had 18 years.
02:29And all you get is a measly phone call.
02:31Like, I, all right, that's good to go.
02:34But hey, listen, I hope it works out for him in Baltimore.
02:38Cause they too are kind of an uncharted territory here in the whole coaching
02:42cycle.
02:43Let's see how that works out.
