The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) has confirmed a 15 nil result at the THA election, in favour of the TPP. With just over half of those eligible to vote exercising their franchise. More from Elizabeth Williams.

00:00Of the total registered electorate of 53,239 voters across 15 electoral districts in Tobago, voter turnout was recorded at approximately 50.69%.
00:15The distribution of votes received by the political parties is as follows.
00:19IDA 181, PNM 10,456, TPP 16,240, UTP 8.
00:30The total valid votes were 26,885 and the total rejected ballots were 104.
00:39Based on the preliminary count, the Tobago People's Party, TPP, won all 15 electoral districts.
00:47The People's National Movement, PNM, requested reconks for Darrow Spring Wim and Scarborough Mount Grace.
00:55The requested reconks were scheduled to commence at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
01:00The ABC said the preliminary tabulation and verification of results from the Tobago House of Assembly THC elections held on Monday have been completed in accordance with established electoral procedures.
01:13The Commission emphasizes that these results are preliminary and remain provisional pending the completion of the recounts and the final validation process.
